USA Today editors have spiked a convention column they commissioned from conservative controversialist Ann Coulter, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. Coulter filed her first report from Boston Sunday night, only to be told hours later that editors found it "unusable" and "not funny."
"They should have read my work before they hired me!" Coulter, who has sold nearly a million copies of her various works and his written a syndicated column for five years, said from Boston.
MOORE ON THE FLOOR, BUT ANN IN THE CAN
Meanwhile Leftwing controversialist and Bush hater Michael Moore has free reign on the floor of the convention hall in Boston -- and has been hired to write for USA TODAY at the Republican convention in New York City!

I called USA Today only to be directed to Gannet/USA at
1-800-872-7073
The woman answering was very flustered when I asked why USA Today would hire Michael Moore to represent them?
She said she didn;t know anyhting about it, stammering the whole time.
A good freep is in order.

Phil Hendries, pictured with Ann, is a clever broadcaster on KFI LA who is Democrat for Bush. He is a rarity: an old school (although only in his 50s)patriotic Dem who supports the troops and their mission. And he looks thrilled to be next to Ann. lol.

I know there are Ann-lovers out there (I included) but that's overkill. Save some bandwidth for the rest of us!

What's interesting about Michael Moore, is that since his "Roger and Me" days, he has never offered any constructive solution or proposal toward anything he critiques thru his films. Most people who operate like that are shunned as intellectual lightweights. I've seen many people dead ended in profession due to their endless willingness to point out what others are or are not doing within the same organization. Some even get fired for it.
The fact that Moore is celebrated for it says very little for those who promote him. The man is a Peter Principle who avoids getting hit because he has a "next film" excuse for some yet to be informed group of victims of someone in a position of political or economic power.

Didn't Drudge run a story late last week that Moore had been
denied credentials for the convention?
I seem to recall quite a few posts about him having to use the loading dock, etc.
