USA Today editors have spiked a convention column they commissioned from conservative controversialist Ann Coulter, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.Coulter filed her first report from Boston Sunday night, only to be told hours later that editors found it "unusable" and "not funny."
"They should have read my work before they hired me!" Coulter, who has sold nearly a million copies of her various works and his written a syndicated column for five years, said from Boston.

Now, regarding his ideological masters at Gannett, there were two TWIN TOWERS of some note in the country. One set was the World Trade Center in New York. The other set was in Rosslyn, and was built originally for the Gannett Corporation and their USA Today rag.
My understanding is Osama didn't particularly care "which Twin Towers" got smacked, so the issue is just exactly how much did Gannett pay AlQaida to hit the other set?

Meh...this is to be expected. Ann is too clever and vitriolic for most mainstream press. If they wanted a lapdog conservative, maybe George Will would do. He seems to be pretty apathetic these days. Ann, on the other hand, is all fire and brimstone when it comes to Dems - and USSRToday should have known that when they asked her for a column.
