The DoD needs to investigate it's Civilian Personnel and Security Offices concerning the non-citizen muslim. Who did the screening/accepting on that hire...and why?

Watergate was child's play.

Why should this take a generation to fix? We don't have 30 years. We don't even have 6 months. Too many politicians are selling America out and there's no hope at this point. Pray Bush is re-elected and his choice is elected for 8 after him.

A second series of internal memos from his staff showed that a Muslim who was employed as an auditor and granted a "top-secret" security clearance was not an American citizen. "He possesses a Social Security number tied to multiple confirmed aliases," a May 2002 memo said. Another paper said, "Using the improper granted interim clearance, [the employee] visited numerous installations where he had access to sensitive information. ... The Department of Justice Joint Terrorism Task Force is currently considering a criminal investigation into this matter."

This shocking info makes you wonder just WHO ole Burglar was calling that pinged a CIA tap. I have a really sick feeling that this is all going to lead to the revelation that the EVIL Dums were in cahoots with the terrorists all along. With the excuse of mid-east peace as the catalyst. This is what happens when you have simple-minded lefties in power.

As this linked story below is copyrighted, I will just post the link, but there are details about document falsification of investigative reports and audits and specifically mentions the "Clinton administration's involvement in decontrolling weapons-technology transfers to the People's Republic of China". This may well have been the reason for the bug.It also mentions another story about the previous inspector general, Eleanor J. Hill entitled "Controversial Staffer Clouds 9/11 Probe". I will see if I can find the story...in the meantime, here is a link to what I have found so far...

New DoD inspector general cleans house - the last word - Department of Defense, Joseph E. Schmitz

Remember, SecDef William Cohen was the nominal Republican in Clinton's cabinet. Clearly the Clinton gang didn't trust him (although Cohen is about as much of a Republcan as Jim Jeffords used to be), or the investigative service under him.

My tagline until Nov. 2:

A vote for Kerry-Edwards is a vote for Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Jacques Chirac, the UN, International Criminal Court, and Hollyweirdos.
Failure to vote, or a vote for a minority party, is a vote for Kerry-Edwards (unless you’re a liberal/Leftist who’ll vote Nader, a minority party, or stay home).

Controversial Staffer Clouds 9/11 Probe

Clinton's former IG, Eleanor Hill, was staff director of the Joint Intelligence Committee who decided what information the 9/11 committee members would see and which witnesses would be called to testify. She also helped cover up Chinagate...Yikes!

I thought they 'debugged' these offices and WhiteHouse when GW went in. . .surely.

. . .and it does not seem unreasonable to assume that this should have been NEWS at the time. . .

This one is pretty easy.

1996. China. Defense Technology Transfers.

Bugs in place to keep tabs on what the DoD IG knows and is doing as related to ANY investigations of China & Tech Transfers.

And some really want these criminals back in office?

Very scary since many of these bureaucrats are still there.

He inherited a bureaucracy of auditors and investigators that Republicans think is more loyal to Democrats than to their party.

Sen. Charles E. Grassley, Iowa Republican and a longtime investigator of Defense Department wrongdoing, conducted an investigation that highlighted an inspector general office that falsified its investigative reports and fabricated witness statements in at least two investigations in the mid-1990s.

Mr. Schmitz, a former aide to Attorney General Edwin Meese III in the Reagan presidency, did not take office until the second year of the Bush era, because Democrats leery of his conservative credentials delayed a final confirmation vote.

Hmm. Sounds as though they knew they were about to be shut down by a competent person, and they didn't want THAT to happen!

I'm wondering; had this office never been swept for bugs before? It seems that should be a regular occurence for ALL of the Pentagon!

I hate to be skeptical of anything that makes Clinton look bad, but how long do batteries last in those "bugs"?

Clinton and his minions were caught time after time.

To get away all they had to do was go on the attack. Such phrases as "vast right wing conspiracy", "it's only about sex' even when it wasn't about sex. "Witch hunt", etc.

Under other circumstances these would have gotten him in even deeper trouble, but he had one overwhelming tool in his toolbox.

His accomplises in the media would spin every account into something it wasn't. In other words they lied for him and since most people have no other way of obtaining information, they drew the only conclusion they could based on false info.
