Don't blame Drudge. I heard it on my local TV and sent it in and Drudge's man called the TV station and verified that my report was authentic. Maybe it was a drill, after all, although the news report said authorities said specifically it was not. There are no tall buildings near the Fleet Center and no wind tonight. The last report on the tube raised a question about the veracity of the original reports, which I reported to Drudge, so I think it's probably wise to have pulled it from the site.
So, it's all MY fault!
/Trust in DHS statements set back to on(3 hours).
Maybe just for a little bit -- had the Admin Moderator pull it down right after Drudge pulled it.

Okay off the top of head these are the things I'm thinking.
1. There has to be a no fly zone in that area for that area, which means a pilot either willingly violated it risking getting shot down or flew high enough for some damn good parachutest to glide to the building in the dark.
2. Enviromentalists? not likely, What pilot would risk his FAA license to pull a stunt.
3. Al Queda likes the dramatic.
4. Have to be pretty damned skilled to do this next to a harbor city with the kind of winds you'd face.
5. What is generally on the roof of buildings.... HVAC systems.
6. Its a federal building, a known target for Al Queda
7. IF this story is true it would be blacked out for national security reasons. IF so.... We may be either very lucky or too late if anyone is in that building.
Praying it is not true.
Looking at this map, no wonder there was hardly any traffic about this incident on the Boston PD scanner. USSS is in control of the hard zone, so they would have responded. And you can't listen to those radios.
If not verifiable, then could be a feint.

Within a 30 nm radius (NMR) of the Boston VORTAC, a TFR will exist from the surface to, but not including FL180:
All aircraft entering or exiting the 30 NMR TFR shall be on an active IFR or VFR flight plan with a discrete code assigned by an air traffic control (ATC) facility. Aircraft shall be squawking the discrete code prior to departure and at all times while in the TFR.
All aircraft entering or exiting the 30 NMR TFR must remain in two-way radio communications with ATC.
All aircraft operating within the 10 to 30 NMR area and operating at altitudes of up to but not including FL180 are limited to aircraft arriving or departing local airfields; ATC may authorize transit operations.
Flight training, practice instrument approaches, aerobatic flight, glider operations, parachute operations, ultralight, hang gliding, balloon operations, agriculture/crop dusting, fish spotters, traffic reporting, news media, animal population control flight operations, banner towing, utility/pipeline patrol and commercial cargo carrier operations that fail to meet or exceed the TSA'S domestic security inspection program standards ARE NOT AUTHORIZED.

I'd say we can find the mastermind for the operation by looking for the guy who bought huge life insurance policies on the jumpers.

I attended a terrorism conference 2 weeks ago, most of the speakers emphasized that Al Queda likes to do something creative and dramatic..... so this has my ears up a bit.
