About 200,000 Israelis, probably more, made a human chain from the Kotel (Western Wall of the Temple Mount) to Gaza. It's inspiring. Wouldn't it be amazing if we formed a human chain from LA to New York for the GOP convention in support of President Bush and our troops?

That's a very GOP patriotic gesture CG, but how do you plan to spread the word out to all states from....let's Washington State to New York? All the western coastal states are left-wing socialistic swamps, so you may have to start at....let's say Idaho. You might want to let all 50 states know of your idea because we might be able to get out of staters to replace the mindless "bots" living in the Liberal left coast socialist republics.

Hello...
I felt compelled to register on this site just to point out; there are times I wish I didn't live so close to Hollywood; that I lived in a state that supports from the core, my family's values;(that is not the case and it is much easier to "wish" on a single mom's budget then to actually pack up and leave with 3 little girls in tow); CG right on!!!!!
We live on the coast and in this county you will find thousand upon thousand of supports for our President.
In the 2000 election, then Governor Bush, came to town on the Amtrak train. It was reported 10,000 people crowded the streets (the liberal media didn't show you that but, I was there).
When Air Force One landed with our beloved President Regan seven weeks ago, the media couldn't display the outpouring of love and respect. But, I can and my daughters too.
A day when we came together. A day we remembered a hero. A gift given to us by the grace of God and taken home on His wings. A smile from the heavens shown from the skies as miles and miles and miles of people stood to salute his flag draped coffin.
I tell you we have 1/2 the "heart and soul" of the American people and we stand on the coast.
Our county bases either support our troops or our battalions have deployed our men/women to war. We love our President and we want him back for 4 more years.
I pledge to you if you can start it on the East coast I can start it on the West coast! Then we'll just have to fill in the blanks.
This can be done! And it's time to stand up America! Why? W stands for WE!

On May 25, 1986, over five million Americans came together in Hands Across America, a dramatic effort to raise money for hungry and homeless people in the United States. At the appointed hour, the participants grasped hands and formed a nearly uninterrupted human chain across sixteen states and the District of Columbia. Spokesperson Ken Kragen, who had previously helped organize the "We Are the World" hunger-relief effort, addressed the crowd gathered on the southern tip of Manhattan.
