NOTE: This is AFTER the pitch.

"How dare you make me throw that pitch short!"

Look at the grip he's got on this kid's neck.

I guess the soldier returning from Iraq couldn't stand sitting next to Kerry for more than an inning:

No, you got that backwards, Kerry couldn't sit next to a "common soldier" for more than an inning. I'm sure the Kerry group gave him the boot.

Bostonians showed their resentment for the Democratic National Convention that has locked down their city by greeting their hometown senator with a mixed chorus of boos and cheers. Kerry kept smiling as he threw out a pitch that sank and hit the dirt before the catcher — a soldier home from Iraq (news - web sites) — could catch it.

AP Bias Correction Filtered Applied:

Bostonians showed their resentment for the Liberal Junior Senator that has locked down their wallets by greeting their hometown senator with a resounding chorus of boos and cheers. Kerry kept smiling as he threw out a pitch that sank and hit the dirt before the catcher — a soldier home from Iraq (news - web sites) — lunged at it in vain as it went to the backstop.

There, that's better.

I'm watching ESPN's HD broadcast, and when they showed closeups of Kerry, you could see that he had that fake tan cream applied, LIBERALLY, of course.

You know, I'm just looking at some of these pictures.

Nobody's butt is supposed to be bigger than their shoulders are wide. It's worse for a guy.

Kerry's thinking: "Is that the ball I pitched? I'm sure it is."

Funny how the "two America" guy thinks its charming to turn his plane around, throw out the first pitch at the spur of the moment and get front row seats for a game that most fans couldn't even get tickets.
