Kerry just 'threw' out the opening pitch at the Boston-Yankees game. Just saw Kerry pitch a really weak opening pitch, well short of the plate, bouncing under the catcher. What a poser!

From here on out Kerry tanks. This night has been a godsend. It's been to good and funny to be true! Truly John's pride has come before his fall. You know, I finally found an issue on which Senator Ketchup and I agree -- the designated hitter. Seantor Ketchup called for its abolition, a position I have been advocating for 30 years.
Of course, that probably means that he will be for the DH next week, or was for it last week. "I was for the DH before I was against it."

Damn ... after posing on ice skates, skis, snowboards, wind surfing, roller blading, throwing a football, riding a very expensive racing bicycle appropriately attired (per Lance Armstrong), only to blow the opening pitch at a baseball game with his best girlie boy effort ... what a blow to his carefully honed athletic prowess. Don't forget the motorcycle ride onto the set of the Tonight Show. Damn, he must be cool, edgy and "down with the people", too.

My Dad was one of the coaches, and the guy accross the street was the other. I still got the minimum required play time. I did get to play on local broadcast TV for an inning though. That was kinda neat.
