Yes- I will- Monday.
Spent the last 2 days in the hospital with 4 fractured bones in my ankle. (now have pins and such) NEVER wear wobbly high heels near a train platform. Never drink 3 beers on an empty stomach after you have been up over 22 hours for a job interview and physical. I feel like such a fool- but despite the crutches, pain, etc- I am grateful to be alive. The police saw me trip and were able to stop the train on the tracks- called 911- God Bless them all.
I'm so glad you're ok, even if you are a little bit dinged up from the experience. It wouldnt be the same around here without ya.
Geez, jg! How awful! Sorry you are banged up so badly, but it truly could have been worse. I mean, at least they got the train stopped!
Hope you are feeling better soon! We need all our TMers here, in light of the current developments.
Oh my gosh jg! I glad you are alright. That sounds like once scary close call. Keep us posted as to your progress with your ankle and stay away from the heels!! Carry flats with you, always, when you must wear heels (job interview).
Wow, that's scary. Glad you're alright.
Oh my gosh - you have really been through a lot lady. Take it easy and NOW is the time for that beer (picturing how traumatizing that had to have been for you!) Hope you heal quickly and get rid of those shoes for ones a little more stable.
OMG you are the second near death I've heard personally in the past 24 H, you are meant to be here! Praying for your wounds to heal!
OMG!!!!! Prayers going up for your healing. Orthopedic surgery (now with internal orthopedic fixation) has progressed by light years since we were kids.
I'll be prayin' for your recovery jerseygirl. Wish I could be there to make ya' supper, give you hot steaming sultry...ahem..baths...and tuck you in at night.
/indie is a baaad boy ;)
Take care of yourself Jersey Girl.
Flat shoes are wonderful (Note to self: 1 ankle broken once, 1 ankle broken twice = sensible shoes and boots only).
Get well soon.
DEAR HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd call you a SILLY RABBIT but sounds like you already know that.
Glad for your survival and will pray for speedy healing. I trust you have learned sufficiently from this experience that
YOU WON'T NEED TO GO AROUND THIS MOUNTAIN AGAIN???? PLEASE!!!!????
Life is sooooo fragile. Time is sooooo precious . . . as are those we love.
LUB,
WOW, Jerseygirl!
Prayers for your speedy recovery.
