The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

Group linked to al Qaeda warns of 'columns of car bombs'

Australia and Italy have received warnings through a statement purportedly from militants linked to al Qaeda that demanded those countries withdraw troops from Iraq.

Authorities said she later told them she was smuggled into the United States from Mexico by crossing the Rio Grande.

Authorities say Ahmed's name appeared on an FBI watch list and it surfaced during an investigation of an overseas terrorist incident. Homeland Security officials have warned that Al Qaeda could use women and non-Arabs as operatives to avoid detection.

Inside the Muslims Against Global Oppression's Information Center, nestled on a quiet block where women wear black Muslim head scarves, Moain Achmad wages war on America's policies for a living. Behind him is a row of T-shirts glorifying the United States as enemy No. 1. The shirts read "Long live bin Laden," a reference to Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. He sells several every week.

South Africa, one of the most liberal countries in the world, has become a focal point of concern in the war on terrorism. Anger toward Bush administration policies in Iraq is fueling admiration for bin Laden, even among moderate Muslims, in a region the United States believes is fertile ground for future terrorists, according to terrorism experts and Muslim leaders. "Bin Laden is a hero," Achmad said. "Saddam overnight has become a hero," a reference to ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
