i sat behind some TWA pilots on a flight once and they discussed it amoung themselves as a shoot down very matter-of-fact.

More than 90% of the American public believes that Egypt Air was taken down by an Islamic terrorist co-pilot. However, our government, and media chose to continue to lie to us. As I said, I understand their motives before 9/11, but now we are all grown up. No virgins left in the US who would be surprised that the Moslem fanatics would or could do such atrocity

my brother in law, who is a pilot for a major airline, belives to this day that flight was shot down...Nothing against your brother-in-law, but he has to fly the darned things. In order to persuade himself that his aircraft was perfectly safe, don't you think it possible that he might have 'convinced himself' as to the validity of the missile-theory? After all, if it was a missile, that means HIS aircraft isn't likely to blow up from a fuel tank explosion. Right?
