"On December 4, 1999, the National Security Council?s counterterrorism coordinator, Richard Clarke, sent Mr. Berger a memo suggesting a strike in the last week of 1999 against Al Qaeda camps in Afghanistan. Reports the commission: ?In the margin next to Clarke?s suggestion to attack Al Qaeda facilities in the week before January 1, 2000, Berger wrote, "no." ?

The reason why Berger kept stealing the same report 4-5 times is because there were drafts with different notes from admin. officials. IN effect, those notes were originals because each draft had different comments in the margins.

That's right. Let's look at the timing. The Berger story came out one day before the 9-11 report was released and within a couple of days of the DNC convention. Now the MSM will have an even better excuse to put the Berger story on the back burner, if it appears at all. Who benefits from that? Certainly not the Republicans!

Very good point. I don't doubt for a moment that Clinton will stab Berger in the back over this if he can. The only question is, will Berger keep sufficiently quiet about Clinton's involvement? As Rush would say: Sandy, steer clear of Fort Marcy Park...

Can you really blame Bill for that, though? I mean, with his secret service protection terrorists probably had little chance of getting close to him... Hillary, on the other hand...

Yeah, if I was Bill I'd fear her anger more, as well...

Double amen to that....W should be re-elected by a landslide. If he doesn't, our country is far enough to the left now where things will get verrrry ugly.

Yesterday Rush kept crypticly saying/singing "all of your dreams will come true"

A thread was posted yesterday trying to figure out if Rush was given a heads up on upcoming news about the Sandbergler.

The File Bergler

He went to see the documents,
You know the Secret kind.
What happened as he left the place,
Will surely blow your mind.
Somehow, weeks later, it appears,
They asked him where they’d gone.
He looked around and sure enough,
His socks were not alone.
His pants and jacket they were stuffed,
With papers large and small.
Osama and Al Qaeda too,
Just little things that’s all
Some he’d thrown away he said,
But those were nothing big.
Old Sandy is a clutter bug,
Announced the Clinton pig.
So shake it off and move along,
You know we’re honest men.
The Clinton mob would never lie,
Oops we’ve been, caught again.

Amazing that only the NY Sun picked up on this...so much for the journalistic acumen of the big papers/networks...

Does this mean that Clarke lied to the 911 Omissioners?

Yes, Southack did. Was derived from something Southack heard on a radio show (Hewitt?) We discussed it I believe and it made total sense.

Now we know at least one good reason Slick Willie had the Bergler on a short least at his side during his 911 Testimony.

Another question came to mind, Did Richard Clarke have the same publisher as Slick Willie?

Remember they all spiked the monica story and without drudge - there would not have been one.

I think a lot of oddfellows who feel their lifestyle's are at risk by a Bush reelection run a lot of papers and news agencies.
