Look, if little Ronnie Reagan wants to make an appearance at the Dems' convention in Boston, fine. It won't change any minds. Simple as that. His father's legacy is secure and nothing little Ronnie can do will harm it.

No soup for you! Next!

"Democrats have secured his flesh and blood"

My! What a "S & M" homosexual phrase to use - isn't it?

The ONLY reason that little tulip got his 15 minutes of fame was because of his daddy...

The dems and libs pretend to love him...because he has always dishonored his father....

His only claim to fame...his only way to get back in front of an audience and a camera
is to shame his father and his father's politics...if it werent for his dad....he'd be a waiter
at some gay roller skating drive in

imo

It would count as a triumph, if the Kerry Campaign had to beg R.R.jr. to attend the convention; I think he asked to speak. This is poor excuse for a son with the name of Ronald Reagan. He should be so ashamed.

Sorry, I actually RATHER see Ron "come out" as a Democrat. The only people who would have been influenced by what he said are Reagan's supporters - and they are conservatives/right-leaning moderates. He could have masqueraded for some time, attempting to influence them as an "heir to Reagan", so this is a far more honest way to go.

At a modern "democrat" convention, populated by leftists and communists, I hardly think anyone will mistake his views for his Father's...

I still dont see a real republican speaking, like we have Zell speaking at our convention...

this is so lame, and I cant even belive its a "news item"

So lessee...the GOP has a SITTING DEMOCRAT United States Senator, ex-Governor and former Marine, Zell Miller, addressing its convention. The Dems got an atheistic former ballet dancer. Yet, the Dems have achieved a "triumph."

which promptly trumpeted its ability to attract "individuals from all political backgrounds."

They attracted someone who is in lockstep with their views. What's so special about that?

The boy's a liberal, there's no changing who he is. What I don't understand is how he can associate with certain people given the way they treat his father. Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy deserve what they get, RR on the other hand was a gentleman.

Yesterday I heard someone refer to Ronald Prescott Reagan as merely President Reagan's 2nd son. Little Ron's name was never actually mentioned. One thing for sure, he is not Ronald Reagan, Jr; nor is he physically, intellectually, or spiritually his father's son.

"Politically, the booking is a triumph for the Democratic ticket of Sens. John F. Kerry and John Edwards (news - web sites), which promptly trumpeted its ability to attract "individuals from all political backgrounds."

Yeah the ticket can attract left votes, liberal votes, socialist votes and even communist votes...

Ron Reagan voted for Nader last time, that's Kerry reaching out for you.

I strongly suspect most voters will be appalled by Ron Jr's appearance at the Democrats Convention, let alone give a keynote address.

Most of us understand "Daddy doesn't love me blues"....but doing this after the death of his father?

Sheesh.....Ronnie Jr's ongoing mental health is the only question thats brought to mind by this stunt.

Yes, stunt.....
