A BAND OF 14 ILLEGAL ALIEN SYRIANS?!

By Michelle Malkin · July 23, 2004 01:47 AM

WNBC investigative reporter Scott Weinberger reported on Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show tonight that the 14 Syrians on Northwest Flight 327 ALL had expired visas. He said that law enforcement officials xeroxed the men's paperwork without looking at the dates. The visas had expired nearly a month earlier, according to Weinberger.

Someone was making a test of methods to hijack and was suprised to be caught. This story was exposed without government help, just like the voting fraud in FLA.

That would be my interpretation. Do a dry run when everything is set up to maintain 'plausible deniability', and hold off on the real attack until you know it's actually going to work.

An X-ray can identify a lot of things, but disguising certain objects so they'll look like something else is not especially difficult. Because many explosives are non-metalic (except for the detonators), a person could easily walk through a magnetometer with the non-metalic portions of a bomb. As for the detonators, those could be disguised in just about anything.

Recently I walked through an X-ray machine with some objects which weren't explosive, but which--if made from explosive material--would have been indistinguishable by visual or x-ray examination from the objects I had. I'll refrain from identifying the objects in question to avoid giving anyone any ideas, except to note that they are of a general type that used to be made from explosive material.

The airline, airport security, and after event LEO's all screwed up. The airline should not have let people with expired visas on board. Airport security should have stopped them (after all, they stop people carrying books with pictures of bombs on them). Then they should have been dealt with by the LEO's after creating such disturbance.

Apparently, our airport security system is a sieve.

I'm beginning to suspect it is intentional.

How should "the airline not have allowed people with expired visas on board." It wasn't an inernational flight. Airlines don't ask everyone ( or anyone) on domestic flights for citizenship papers, and, of course, you and I couldn't produce them, because we either don't have them or aren't required to carry them!

This whole story makes me sick. Apparently little was learned from 911. Nevermind the expired visas; why are Syrians allowed in this country at all?

You are correct. The entire state of affairs is disturbing, and makes me ill. From this epic invasion of our borders, to allowing in hundreds of thousands of Mid Easterners into our country.

It's lunacy on a titanic scale. You can bet, if we are hit again, and thousands of American's are killed, and it's determined that the terrorist entered through Mexico with *little* effort, OR it's discovered that our government granted visas to murdering terrorist, all hell will break loose.

There will be 200 million angry faces directing their justified outrage at *All* these politicos, including this current administration for allowing this insanity to occur.

I am confident that President Bush and his family does not have strange Mid Easterner's wandering around on Air Force One while he's cruising at 30,000 feet.

Why in hell should our children, and *our* families be subjected to this nightmare and pending brutal disaster?

The reading thing comes in time. Scarborough has passion for his subject matter. He's one of the few taking a real interest in the subject and spending more than the alloted 2 minutes discussing them on the air... plus he follows up. IMHO Alan Combs has no personality!

At least one of the officials who met the plane and 'checked out' the Syrians and let them go needs to be fired, stripped of citizenship and deported to Syria.

"You know what is up here, the airlines don't want to refund monies for them losing their seat on the plane."

Per the TSA, if more than two men of middle-eastern decent are pulled aside for extra search the airline will be fined for discrimination. Thanks, Norm Mineta, you a$$.

Check this out.

JUST REPORTED

KFI LOS ANGELES....an investigator had the Arabic songs of this band transcribed, and they discovered the leader of this Band has a top song that describes and celebrates the death of a suicide bomber. They read the words, and it was absolutely chilling.

As a matter of fact, the name of their top song is called "The Martyr" !

The musicians, whose in-flight antics caused alarm among the flight crew and drew the suspicion of air marshals, had P3 entertainment visas and performed at a number of different venues across the country. They departed the United States on dates between July 10 and July 15. --"Syrians flew with expired visas," By Audrey Hudson, THE WASHINGTON TIMES, http://www.washtimes.com/national/20040727-123853-7608r.htm

How many times have we said that the government doesn't know how many illegals are here, what their status is, where they are, or what their intentions are.

Unfortunately I don't see any relief on the horizon. Bush isn't going to do anything about the illegals and Kerry, if elected, won't do anything either. We're in a downward spiral and nobody seems to care. Except us.

Good find. While probably not actual terrorists, these clowns are Al-Qaeda sympathizers. What they did on that plane was deliberate. They wanted to have a little "fun" terrorizing Americans to the limited extent that they could.

The most disturbing part of this story for me is that no one even approached them or interrupted their sequential trips to the bathroom in order to inspect the space while the flight was in the air.

(Although they probably were also hoping for a confrontation so they could get on the phone with CAIR and immediately file a lawsuit.)
