I think it deserves to be in "breaking news" -- it's real news in a legitimate paper, but it's not all over the place yet.
It talks specifically about some recent dry runs of terrorists.
It also mentions that the 14 ME men on a plan, another article written by someone who was actually on board, was indeed a terrorist dry run.

Here is the link to the thread for the article on the 14 ME men -- if you haven't read it, suggest going from the thread to the actual long article and reading it. It's chilling.

Is this insane? They seem to know what these subhuman murderers are up to, yet they do nothing! In a post 911 world, there is NO excuse for inaction just to be PC!

On one flight an air marshal reportedly broke into an onboard toilet to find that a mirror had been removed and that a Middle Eastern man was trying to break through a wall to the cockpit. My local talk radio was talking about this story tonight

However, air marshals who monitored the incident said there was no "legal basis on which to take enforcement action". It is despicable that the passengers said and did NOTHING. Who the hell cares about the Air Marshalls. This is OUR NATION. And if you see a group of foreigners acting suspiciously...YOU DAMN WELL SAY SOMETHING!!!

On one flight an air marshal reportedly broke into an onboard toilet to find that a mirror had been removed and that a Middle Eastern man was trying to break through a wall to the cockpit. Was this guy arrested? Unlike the (supposed) musicians, surely what he did was illegal.
Maybe I missed it, but I've seen no story about this person being arrested and charged. If he was arrested, the authorities have kept his case very quiet. (It reminds me of the way the authorities kept quiet about the B. cereus fatalities before it was known that the cases weren't anthrax.)

Like Michael Savage said today--if the government is not going to protect us, then we have to protect ourselves. His rule--if there are 5 or more Middle-Eastern looking men on a plane, he's outta there. I would leave if there were more than 3....Political Correctness will kill us ! Unfortunately, its going to take another tragedy for these idiots to wake up...sickening....

G-d help us if the american people think Kerry, in concert with France and Germany, will be better able to protect this country.

Billions of dollars, Air Marshalls, the TSA, Homeland Zecurity, illegal searches and seizures at airports, etc....
And the 'experts' are saying the airlines still aren't safe.
The statists must be having heart attacks right now.

"The al-Qaeda network and its affiliates are sophisticated, patient, disciplined and lethal."
If the Al Qaeda network is so "sophisticated," then how is it that the Russian Mafia was able to sell them fake suitcase nukes? The truth is that Al Qaeda got lucky on Sept. 11, 2001. Osama Bin Laden was quoted as expressing his "surprise and delight" that the attack was able to bring down the twin towers.
I'm not making light of the prospect of another attack, but I seriously doubt that the same type of attack would work again, simply because we are on guard for that type of action. The planes would be shot down before any major targets could be hit. That's not to say that terrorists wouldn't use another attempt of this kind as a diversion for something else.
