In our urgency to depose the Bushies, do we risk becoming just a little too much like the villains onscreen? You're so far gone that you're looking up the slippery slope from the base and instead believe you're looking down from the top.

Bush supporters this year doctored an old photo of John Kerry to make it appear he was seated next to Jane Fonda at a Vietnam war protest. Then they e-mailed the photo to millions of voters. That's not just misleading. That's 1984 stuff... That was Newsmax (right?) running with one of Registerd's parody photos -- and the reason it flew like wildfire was because it was believeable.
Moore, meanwhile, didn't fabricate anything.
This is arguably false, in that his highly selective use of facts and footage are used to fabricate images and impressions that are 100% counter to reality.

That's not just misleading. That's 1984 stuff. In the hands of rulers, such tactics are the route to fascism. The Bushies have attacked our constitutional freedoms in the name of protecting us. Man Reg, I didn't know you had that kind of power! :)

when things are taken out of context (i.e. vacation days) it provides an excuse for conservatives to ignore the entire movie and the many good points it makes. And what would those "points" be, newbie troll? Moore's movie is nothing but one distortion after another.

Outsiders' agitprop--filmmaking that goes over the line--is not the same as OK'ing the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib.
What torture?

I felt smarter and more virtuous than the creep at the center of the story. Just a guess, but I'm betting that the author of this article feels the same way after he reads the New Testament...

David Kopel has compiled a list of 59 deceptions in Fahrenheit 9/11. And, as Orwell once noted, omission is the most powerful form of lie. But the most asinine thing that Moore did in F911 was to insinuite that Iraq was just a happy country before we took out Saddam - and it shows just how deranged the left has become in their hatred of Bush that they would downplay abject tyranny to try and make a point about Bush.
So go soak your head and floss between your ears.

Oh bite me, you self-important hypocritical douche.
Yeah, God forbid the liberals in this country ever lose their stellar reputation for passionate yet polite civil discourse.

So in other words, this moron has self-doubts about hating Bush too much. He knows that the more Bush is attacked by the lefty extremists the more people overall is going to support him, and that fact gnaws at him.
