Paging G. Gordon Liddy....And all he wanted was campaign secrets, not national security secrets. I wonder if the Dems appreciate the difference.

I think the very least Sandy Sox will have done to him will be to have his security clearance lifted. His security clearance should have been terminated as soon as he was longer working for the Government. I'd like to know why it wasn't.

....frequent bathroom breaks..."
The Charmin Defense. Let's see, Monica swallowed the evidence, Berger wiped and flushed.
He will walk!
To: Camachee
Exactly. And Liddy resents being referred to as a bad shot or a third-rate burgler. LOL!! He must be enjoying this on some level.

Take a deep breath and ignore the man behind the curtain. This is small potatoes compared to what will come.
You forget that people in powerful positions want to bring this country down. Clinton, 9/11 and this massive blatant security breach were no accident, though the perps and their willing accomplices say accidents occurred.
I believe that we will be presented with events that are even more shocking than anything that you have seen thus far. Get ready for the ride.

"These people are soooooo foolish. Have they no dignity?"
See post #25. They aren't fools. They have no dignity. They have free reign with no repercussions.
Have a nice day.

Democrats don't need no stinkin security clearance. Read Aldridge's book. He saw it coming. It is an excellent retrospective read.
To: KMC1
I still haven't heard anyone state definitively whether the originals (all versions) are still on file in the archives.

Don't we have treason laws, and why are they not being followed?? THIS MAN STOLE HIGHLY CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS, HELLO GOVERNMENT!!!...WHY, pray tell do we have laws and not make them work for us. I've been wondering about that for years. Clinton's impeachment hearing was a joke. Now this. Hate to be cynical, but there's no accountability for some people. I think on a personal level, Bush does care, but he is just one man hogtied to a corrupt system. Things must change, but I'm all out of ideas.
I'm also thoroughly disgusted by the use of our military being used as political pawns.

From the WP article: "
This is a terrible experience for him, and he's embarrassed by his mistakes," Lockhart said, "but I think he also feels a sense of injustice that after building a reputation as a tireless defender of his country that many Republicans would try to assassinate his character to pursue their own ends." Republicans are not assassinating Berger's character; they are merely exposing it.

I guess the bathroom ran out of TP ... so he had to use the documents instead ... perfectly understandable ... his party used the BoR and Constitution for such purposes ... why not these documents too.

That is the first thing I thought of, Gary Aldridge's book. In fact, if I remember correctly, it was years before all people had clearances, if, in fact they all did. (Clinton take over) Security was nothing to them. Of course, this doesn't excuse what Berger did and he should have the book thrown at him. Why did he have any clearance anyhow, he had nothing to do with the government anymore.
Folks, if this is allowed to be swept under the carpet, we are in deep dodo. All those people take care of each other and we are just an annoyance to them. There will be all types of investigations and nothing will happen, there is too much of this going on.
Oh well..........whats new.

The Kerry Campaign must have a really noninvasive vetting process.

Hey clamperman!!
Every "explanation" I hear from the Dems is typical Clinton speak. Blaming the republicans for letting the info on Berger out, etc.,etc.
It's their old tactic of Kill the MESSENGER. I told my son last night to watch to see if the employees that ratted Berger out at the archives are suddenly "outed" and maligned. If so, it's just another Cintonesque cover up!
Be well,
B.
