Police are questioning each and every passanger on the train per Fox News.
Hope nothing bad happens
Syrian musicians coming to play Carnegie Hall?
Hope this is just another false alarm situation.....obviously the authorities are on alert for something.
Yemeni mimes going to The Village?
On July 9 I was riding the 0642 Amtrak from Maryland to Newark-Penn. They stopped the trains at Newark-Airport because of some security matter farther up the tracks. I never found out what that was about, so maybe it will be routine to check trains before they reach NY-Penn.
Fox Reporter who happened to be on train is talking on Fox right now - something found in the bathroom. He said everyone is very nervous.
WCBS says Amtrak train 170, detained at Newark Penn Station, NJ Transit police in the aisles, asking for personal info from all passengers including home phone numbers (will be contacted later), AMTRAK expects to have all-clear later, expect to see more of this as convention gets closer, passengers being videotaped.
Fox News...passanger on train #170 is talking to an assignment desk Fox employee. At about 8 a.m. police starting checking passangers and they seem to have found something in the bathroom but the police won't say why they are searching. They have a video camera in the bathroom with search dogs.
Mimes should always be stopped, regardless of their origin.
Each and every passenger is being interviewed -
Caller into Fox (a Fox employee) says there are 8-10 officers on his car. They are checking the bathrooms and are questioning passengers and checking ID.
The dogs have the video camera? Talented dogs!
"Something found in bathroom." A dead body?
Palestinian sword-swallowers going to SoHo. Nothing to see here.
The guy sounds a little nervous.
Supreme court decision..................
Yes, he did sound nervous. He also said this is the train often taken to New York from Philadelphia and Wilmington. Delaware.
He probably left something in the bathroom. :)
PING...............
