A related article (a conservative's commentary) on National Review Online -

There was a very long thread on this article posted a few days ago. You should try to dig it out, because I've never seen anyone raked over the coals so viciously on FR as this woman was. I think the very first response was two words: "Murderous bitch."
My theme was that mankind had often changed the definition of life throughout its history, whenever somebody else's life became "inconvenient". I said that the most recent example was the Nazis and their slaughter of the Jews as "subhuman".
A young woman interrupted me and shouted "Are you calling me a Nazi?"
I stopped my speech and asked he "Why would I call you a Nazi?"
She answered "I have had three abortions..."
I said "You're a Nazi, sit down..." and continued my speech.
The woman that committed the crime of killing her twins for the convenience of her career, her mood, her out-of-wedlock choice will have to live with the knowledge that two identical lives, part of her and her boyfriend, are gone forever. Her son will have to live with the knowledge that his mother stole his two siblings from him and all of the memories of the play and support they would have given him as he grows up.
The spirit of the Nazis lives on.
And the culture of death has sunk to ever lower levels. This was one of the most sad and disgusting articles I've read in a long time.
I remember many years ago when the Chicago Tribune used to run Stayskal cartoons on their editorial page. He was always poignant with the traditional conservative point of view. Two cartoons came to mind...one showed two little angels seated at the edge of a cloud with one conversing and the other holding a newspaper with the headline "Roe Vs. Wade's 10th birthday" the punchline below read, "What's a birthday?"
The other showed an old woman in her deathbed looking up and speaking to her son while he is reaching over to pull the plug; the punchline read, "I should have aborted you." Too bad words can't describe the images or communicate the same message.
I sometimes wonder about the Nazi comparison. The Nazis murdered millions for their crackpot racist theories while our nation has murdered probably 4 times as many for convenience. Both the Nazis and the feminists dehumanized the innocent victims and tried to rationalize along the lines of eliminating the "unwanted". Amy Richards is one of the poster children for the sexual revolution.
And when we started down this slippery slope years ago the "feminists" of the day said this type of thing would NEVER happen....Of course they can justify this type of murder after all we now can starve adults to death ....woe are we
I wonder if abortion doctors will be able to see the souls of those the've killed when they pass on themselves?
Trading human life for money will be a haunt that forever harasses them.
Sounds like a model 'rat.
When One (baby) Is Enough (ultimate in cold selfishness)
Excerpts from the same article:
An evil, self-obsessed, shallow, stupid, arrogant whore.
And she thinks it's acceptable--acceptable enough to write about it in an article for the New York Times.
Her kid is going to be one messed-up little guy, with parents like these, and knowing that he HAD two sisters or two brothers but that his witch of a 'mother' killed them rather than have to shop for mayonnaise at Costco.
Ugh, I feel hateful and almost homicidal right now. This is one of the most sickening things I've ever read.
We're supposed to "feel her anguish" or something.
I feel for the children. It's women like her that I argued about in my arguments in college a couple of decades ago with fellow classmates. And they wouldn't believe that that kind of situation occurs very often and if it did, so what.
Frankly, even without the abortions, I can't stand this woman's airs about Manhatten (which is not all of New York City in and of itself) and having to move to Staten Island and shop at Costco. Frankly, from her situation, I doubt she could afford to live in Staten Island in any kind of comfort. Most of S.I. has come up nicely -- it costs a bit to live there and a *lot* to commute from there.
But getting back to the topic: the woman makes me sick as does the girlie-man mate that she has. Btw, when she went off the Pill, did they use any substitute contraceptive?
TS
But it was a matter of, Do I want to?
Wrong question. Correct question: Does God want me to kill my baby?
"Thy will be done..."
Somehow, I could see this being used as a plotline in "Sex and the City." There, at least, the character would agonize for 30 seconds or so before going with the "selective reduction." BTW, anyone ever notice the amazing resemblence between Sarah Jessica Parker and Smarty Jones?
I feel sick after reading this. Like I want to vomit.
Mrs. IOTN and I have been trying to have another child for the last 3 years, and this woman can so flippantly and selfishly dispose of two precious babies. Like it's a soft-option for her. Like it's as easy as choosing what to throw away when you move.
It would be easy for me to hate her, but I can't. I feel sorry for her. That she's been so affected, so saturated with the feminist doctrine of selfishness and self-loathing that she feels "inconvenienced" by having more than one child.
God forgive her, because I can't.
Rush read this on his program the other day. I thought as it progressed that he was going to say that she changed her mind about the "reduction". When I realized that she went through with it, it made me sick. If all 3 had been born, I challenge her to choose 2 of them to murder. IMO she has absolutely no idea the horror of what she has done.
"My immediate response was, I cannot have triplets. I was not married.."
A slut.
Now, if she'd drowned all the kittens in a litter except for one, she'd REALLY be in for trouble...
