On Sept. 11, 2001 it all seemed so sudden, and without warning. But three years and two investigations later, it's clear there was a tragic trail of missed opportunities to stop some of the hijackers, disrupt the plot and perhaps save 3,000 lives.

We can be prepared to DISCUSS/REFUTE the following items that will be discussed on this show tonight at 9:00 P.M. EDT.

"I am SO Sure we will see the Congress types acknowledge their own fowl ups....."
Here's an odd factoid for you. Right after 9/11, Dick Gephardt, whom I cannot stand, said, and I quote, "We failed the American people." I thought for a moment that he had had his epipheny, but he quickly reverted to type, but what he said, and it bears out your point, is that Congress failed the American people, and some of them realized it. They nevertheless reverted to politicians within days, if not minutes. It was the saddest and most depressing things I have ever experienced.
"I know all the "usual suspects" that have been harping on what Bush knew in the Aug 6, PDB will now have the same moral outrage about this. Right? Right?"
YEAH....sure they will!
In the clip of the interview Tom Brokaw had with John Kerry, Brokaw asked him if the Senate bore any of the responsibility.
Kerry said it was the president's responsibility.
Wait a minute. So, Dubya was supposed to know what 7 soldiers (out of 130,000) were doing one night 5,000 miles away, but Kerry don't know that his foreign policy advisor was under investigation for stealing documents from the national archives? Isn't he on the intelligence committee?
Yep. But he didn't have time to go to DC to get his briefing......or vote.....or do his duties as a senitor...or???????/
Oh my gosh!
I just flipped over to Hannity and Idiot....and in there next segment (50 after)...they are gonna have a guy who crawled out of one of Saddam's mass graves.
I can't imagine the horror he went through.
Hey...is there a live thread for Edwards on King?
She goes on to babble about how training of airport screeners has been revised to better prepare them to recognize a potential threat.
What she failed to say is that as a result of 911, anybody found flashing a 4" knife on board a commercial aircraft would be tossed overboard by the rest of passengers.
Hey John, whose job is it to know your NSA is a thief?
Hey John, whose job is it to know your NSA is a thief?
In the House of Reprenatives, the members are continuosly campaigning when they face re-election every 2 years. Some of these Congress critters are good servants of the people and deserve to be there, but most are just campaigners doing whatever they can to attract attention. I would like to see Congress Critters and Senators be elected every 4 years, just as the Executive Branch.
Oh, Chrissy told a lie: George Tenet has DENIED he ever said that he thought about the hijacker that morning.
Edwards is not even a good liar. He should get lessons from Slick Willie if he plans on getting the "American People" to think like they want them to.
I don't know about anyone else but neither John Kerry nor John Edwards/Elizabeth Edwards(another two for the price of one) speaks for this "American People" and I wish to hell they would STOP trying to!
Someone PLEASE get Elizabeth and Teresa a damn hair stylist!
Here comes the Ex Clinton flunkies, and notice...... Chrissy didn't let us know who they worked for
What is Chrissy talking about
The morning of the attack Tent thought of the guy in Minn. in flight training school?
That's not was Woodward wrote in his book ..
God save us all from Larry Johnson.
Exactly!
Gawd, we know more than they do!
I don't think Berger's a fall guy. The documents were in HIS pants, not in Clinton's. Maybe he was doing Clinton's bidding, but why? Not for nothing, I believe. Nah, I just think Berger's an easy mark and a great opportunity for vultures like Chrissy to feed. But whatever Berger gets he had coming to him.
I just saw that Johnson (Agent) on Hawd Baw say that both the FBI and CIA had vital info but did not put it together.
WELL....With the "Wall".....it seems they were not allowed to do that anyway.
Woolsey had a great point...."The whole country was asleep at the switch.
Larry Johnson is a "girlie man" scorned :-)
He's a Parrot and keeps repeating the same thing because it's all he was taught to say
