A few minutes ago I posted here about Linda Ronstadt. No swearing, no personal insults. Other posters here viciously attacked and insulted Ronstadt, their posts remain. My post got deleted within minutes. Are you guys really that scared? I believe in free speech and the exchange of opinions, obviously you don't. Mr Robinson, answer me: on what basis was my post deleted? I almost feel compelled to post on various other websites how I doubled up laughing about the cowardice on display here. Again, show me your courage please, cheers from the Leftist Dutchman!

Folks, keep the debate rolling please, I'll be glad to read the growth of the thread tomorrow (must be off). I like heated debate, it prevents warfare.
My sources: top quality newspapers from the Dutch left, centre and right, BBC tv, German tv and so on.
We have free speech.
We have a wide array of diverse TV stations.
We have no tyranny, no dictator, but a decent democratic government.
We even have a Queen.
We have every type of personal freedom as guaranteed in the Laws of the United States.
We have fine beers and good food.
We don't like jingoism or excessive patriotism.
We are no commies.
So there. I'll be back soon and thank you for taking the trouble, and that is a well-meant non-ironic remark.

According to them, she was reported as saying that she was uncomfortable even being aware that an audience that she was performing for contained "conservaties" or "fudementalist Christians." She would rather not even know if they were there.

There we see the breadth of her prejudice and bigotry. Goes right along with Moore's attitude.

That's called liberty. Some people are scared of it. We are not bound by law to follow the conventions of every other website on the Net like lemmings or sheep.

People who complain and gripe that they are being excluded from debate here and then refuse to engage in it are called trolls. It is disruptive and rude behavior and generally repugnant to people who value honest intellectual analytical thought.
