It's worth it to click on the article. In particular, the Post reports that: The FBI was called in after alert archives staffers saw documents peeking out from under Berger's pants, smelled a rat — and ran a sting operation by marking other documents to prove he was taking them out, a government official said. This contradicts Sandy Berger's lawyer's contention in the Slimes that Sandy Berger only stuffed documents in his jacket and pants pocket. And we finally have a source for the down the pants allegations -- the archive staffers themselves.

I had missed that detail... I won't hold my breath; the Clinton Criminal Conspiracy has slipped the noose every time it looked like they were nailed, but maybe- just maybe- this will lead to their unravelling.

Here's what I think will happen. During the investigation, the liberal media will show film footage of Berger coming/going to services at a temple, Old Testament in his hand. Somebody in Berger's family who has an even more Jewish name will appear briefly on network or cable news saying something about a "witch hunt" against poor Sandy and how the family came over here from Germany to escape this kind of thing.

Suggestion will accomplish what direct accusation can't.

Well, here's a Clintonian explanation of the whole thing:

He was sitting in the archives when he suddenly felt a bit, er, lonely. He begins to, um, satisfy himself by shoving the documents down his pants, and in a nod to Dick Morris, his socks. This whole matter is therefore about sex, and we all know EVERYONE lies about sex. It's a personal matter between Sandy Berger and Georgia Pacific, and none of anybody's business.
