Looks like Berger isn't the only DemocRat in trouble.
Things are looking up for New Jersey.

And all we've got is Schundler, the pretend-Conservative. Someone of substance please run and give us a NJ Governor we can be proud of.

I think Schundler is about the best we've got. Why do you think he's a pretend conservative?
To: freeperfromnj
The way McGreevy's spending tax payer money for "public service " announcements advertising himself - the latest tonight, how much he's improved the Department of Motor Vehicles - he should be jailed for misappropriation of public funds for starters.....

Gov. James E. McGreevey took office as a straight-arrow former prosecutor bent on putting an end to the corruption for which New Jersey was notorious. Bullsh!t. I don't know three people in New Jersey who would ever have described this bastard as a "straight-arrow," or who ever believed that he had any intention of ending any corruption in this state. In fact, his victory over Bret Schundler was primarily attributable to the division in the ranks of the GOP after the previous governor (Donald DiFrancesco) turned out to be as corrupt as any other New Jersey politician and failed to win his party's nomination in 2001.

Typical sleaze filled Democrat administration, corruption oozing out of every puss filled sore. Just like the eight years of Clinton and his incompetent gang of know nothing grifters.

Maybe they'll do a Torricelli and wait until the last minute before the reelection vote and shove ole Frank Lautenberg in as a replacement. Frank's their go-to guy when it comes to standing in for an incumbent with ethics problems. And as governor, Frank can even appoint his own replacement in the Senate. Sweet.

"Usually, New Jerseyans are fairly tolerant,"
Considering how they let themselves be "Torched" without a whimper, I'd say this is an understatement.

Gov. James E. McGreevey took office as a straight-arrow former prosecutor bent on putting an end to the corruption for which New Jersey was notorious. According to rumors, it would be quite odd to use the words "Jim McSkeevy" and "straight" in the same sentence.

Thanks for posting this! I've seen this all over the evening news here, and CNN has been doing non-stop coverage of this horrible scandal.

McGreevey = McGREEDY in taxing and spending OPM (other people's money). Surely, the Garden State could do better.

McGreevey took office 21/2 years ago, and despite inheriting a $5 billion budget deficit, he steadfastly refused to boost income taxes for most New Jerseyans, instead raising taxes on millionaires, casinos and cigarettes. Wow, steadfastly.
