Paul Johnson Beheading Video (Graphic)

I know everyone is fixated on the Sand Burgler right now, but I just want to remind everyone why the Democrats are so dangerous.

They empower our enemies any chance they can get. They continue to put themselves before their country or their countrymen. Clinton is a disgrace, Berger is a disgrace, and yes...John Kerry is a digrace.

Only the delusional don't see the evil that walks the earth today. Although none of us are without sin; most do not embrace it with the hopes of pleasing God.

As Christians we are taught that the most humble, the most giving, the most altruistic among us should be revered. Yes we are submissive to God; demonstrated by putting others before us and by accepting God's forgiving grace. We are asked to love and forgive all, even our enemies.

Islam is very different; it glorifies the mutilation and deaths of others who don't submit to its teaching's. Tolerance and acceptance are unknown and forbade.

We are living the Crusades once again; the horror from the clashing of these two cultures will be with us for years - many will be left dead in its wake.

I pray we have the fortitude and strength to see this through to victory. A world dominated by Islam will truly be the embodiment of "Hell on Earth".

Remember when the Nick Berg video was released? Many people, (mostly on the left) were saying, it was a fake, or it was real but it was our people behind the mask, CIA operatives involved in some evil plot. Where are those people now? How many of these beheadings have we had since? I think 4 or 5, with several more being threatened.
Time for these idiots and the idiots in the media to Wake Up! We are at war with the darkest and most evil enemy we have ever faced.

Star Spangled Banner song playing...

I AM THE FLAG . . .

I am the flag of the United States of America.
My name is Old Glory.
I fly atop the world's tallest buildings.
I stand watch in America's halls of justice.
I fly majestically over institutions of learning.
I stand guard with power in the world.
Look up and see me.

interspersed are many gifs of the flag and of the White House.

I stand for peace, honor, truth and justice.
I stand for freedom.
I am confident.
I am arrogant.
I am proud.
When I am flown with my fellow banners,
my head is a little higher, my colors a little truer

I bow to no one!
I am recognized all over the world.
I am worshipped I am saluted.
I am loved I am revered.
I am respected and I am feared.

Song changes to "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord....."

I have fought in every battle of every war for more than 200 years.
I was flown at Valley Forge, Gettysburg, Shiloh and Appomattox.

I was there at San Juan Hill,
the trenches of France,
in the Argonne Forest, Anzio, Rome
and the beaches of Normandy, Guam.
Okinawa, Korea and KheSan, Saigon, Vietnam know me,
I was there.

Sing changes to God Bless America. Scrolling slowly down....more gifs of the marines lifting the flag up at Hiro Jima and the mirror image of the firemen all dusty doing the same at 9-11.

I led my troops,
I was dirty, battle-tested and tired,
but my soldiers cheered me
And I was proud.

America has been attacked by cowardly fanatics
and many lives have been lost
But those who would destroy me cannot win.
For I am the symbol of freedom
of One Nation under God, Indivisible.
with liberty and justice for all.

I have been burned, torn and trampled
on the streets of countries I have helped set free.
It does not hurt for I am invincible.

I have been soiled upon, burned and torn, and
trampled on the streets of my country.
And when it's by those whom I've served in battle it hurts, but I shall overcome for I am strong.

gif of astronaut standing on the moon with US flag.

I have slipped the bonds of Earth
and stood watch over the uncharted frontiers of space
from my vantage point on the moon.
I have borne silent witness
to all of America's finest hours.
But my finest hours are yet to come

When I am torn into strips and used as bandages
for my wounded comrades on the battlefield,
When I am flown at half-mast to honor my soldier,
Or when I lie in the trembling arms
of a grieving parent
at the grave of their fallen son or daughter,
I am proud.

MY NAME IS OLD GLORY
LONG MAY I WAVE.

Gif of fireman with an angel next to him and a flag in his hands, sitting tiredly on a curb.

Gif of World Trade Center with lights where the buildings used to be. And the Statue of Liberty is very lit up.

Last gif is of the Eagle with the flag over its head.

do this for me. Go to the second post on this thread and choose the link. Then scroll down to the second site for the video of Paul Johnson beheading. The one that says mirror 2. And choose it. Have a kleenex handy. It is NOT a beheading video. I think it has been hacked.

I am in no way condoning the actions of these sick people, however, to condemn an entire religion on the basis of a zealot sect is inherently wrong. Doesn't Christianity teach us to turn the other cheek? Forgive others? I've gone to parochial school my entire life and, if I remember correctly, Jesus was a pretty peaceful kind of guy, not really down with the whole lets HATE HATE HATE everyone thing. I cannot see the merit in posting such arrogant statements on the Internet for all to see. Are you so closed minded you fail to see the pros and cons of all religions? Are there not certain groups of Christians who have taken responsibility for the bombing of abortion clinics? Where is their condemnation?
Are those involved in jihad monsters? To us, yes. But hate, misunderstanding, fear, and prejudice cannot eradicate hate, misunderstanding, fear, and prejudice. Should we be angry, hurt, and incited to a point of disgust and fury? Yes....but remember, not all Muslims are evil just as all Christians are not moral. I should know....my father is Muslim and my mother was a Roman Catholic...take it from someone with experience on both sides of the fence....the militants simply interpret their relgious writings in a literal, rather than symbolic, way....and, like the Catholic Church who has just published a 31 page document proposing how WOMEN should behave in the wake of an emormous sexual scandal involving priests....haven't quite caught up with the changing times we live in. My dad is not a monster--so be specific. Islam is not the enemy. Closed mindedness and uncontrolled rage are......
Why be as bad ourselves as we claim them to be? And why make religious assesments of Islam when I can be almost sure you can neither speak arabic nor read it, much less peruse through the Koran. Besides, looks like you need to catch up on your Bible reading anyhow..

I have read much of the Koran; it glorifies violence in the name of their god. I assume you have read it?

I do not hate all Muslims as you would like to believe; nor do I condone the hatred inspired by their religion.

I am a Christian; I believe in granting forgiveness and mercy to those who ask. I do not however believe in the dismissal of evil when one is facing it.

You should take the time out and do some historical research into the Crusades, particularly what prompted them and how close the Western world almost came to being wiped off the face of the earth.

Understand the roots of militant Islam are heavily tied to the last 1400 years of history.

Does it not bother you that most of the Middle East was once considered part of Christendom (wonder what happened to them)? Does it not bother you that over 90% conflicts today involve followers of Islam? Does it not bother you that over 2,000,000 Christians have been massacred (by followers of Islam) in Northern Africa over the past 10-15 years?

Until the average Muslim takes up arms to stop their brethren from killing non-Muslims I will continue to fight for my way of life.

To many in the west this war is new; to our enemies it has been on-going for the past 1000 or so years.

Welcome Newbie

Holy writings are subject to interpretation on many levels. Those that choose to take it literally are veiling themselves to the world that exists and evolves around us today. I have read the Koran and am aware that there are some violent passages, however, the Bible itself contains harsh messages too. Also, if we are speaking in terms of mass injustices done in the name of God by whichever religious group, what about the Inquisition? What about crimes on the micro rather than macro level....such as molesting young children when in a position of trust and empowerment, and supposedly, with God on your side?
I am sure there were even some Muslims killed in the towers, and the same goes for Jews, Christians, Atheists, Agnostics, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Hindus and Buddhists, plus many more. What we had in common was not our god but the fact that we are all Americans. If you are going to condemn MILITANT muslims (the adjective was not included in the post I responded to, which is why I asked for specification), then condemn militant Christians as well--I notice you chose not to respond to my mention of the bombing of abortion clinics.
The judgements you make about the terroristic situation permeating our every thought, newscast, publication, etc. should not be reflective of your beliefs as a Christian, but as an American. If all you can do is pit your "pure" religion against this "dark" and "evil" one, then you are being as egotistical and militant as they are. The fight is between us, not Gods. Let them carry on with their Allah junk...it's a facade I don't care to carry instead of facing the fight as an American, regardless of who I pray to at night.

Thanks for the welcome.

"I have read the Koran and am aware that there are some violent passages, however, the Bible itself contains harsh messages too..."

Nowhere in the New Testament of the Bible does it direct a follower of Christ to slay unbelievers. In fact, it states the greatest love one can show another person is to give up their life for another.

This stands in complete contrast to what is found in the Koran.

Those that kill in the name of God and call themselves Christian cannot justify their actions anywhere within the New Testament. However, those that kill in the name of their god and call themselves Muslim can point to a multitude of dictates in the Koran. There is no moral equivalency no matter how much you wish to believe it.

That is the problem the Islamic world must deal with it if it wishes to avoid all out war with the west. The world of Christendom was able to undertake a reformation and rid itself of the blood-thirst that took it over. Luther and company were able to do this because the New Testament CLEARLY demonstrated that the leaders of the Church were no longer following true Christian doctrine. Islam is in dire need of a reformation. The problem is that those who wish to reform it will be very hard pressed to point out where the fundamentalists are not following true doctrine.

You may wish to ignore the fact that over 90% of the military conflicts on the face of the earth involve believers of Islam; tens of millions have been slaughtered in Islams name; and the Middle East is dominated by Islamic governments abating and supporting terrorism. Yes, you can ignore it but I won't; the religion plays a large role in why we fight today. Islam conflicts with the western ideals of freedom and equality; the very values that I cherish most.

I harbor no ill feeling toward people of peace regardless of the religion they choose to embrace. However, we are seeing a rise in Islamic fascism that is unparalleled in human history; even Nazi Germany takes a back seat to this form barbarism and brutality. To ignore its rise, to ignore the root cause and the violence it motivates, is to be irresponsible and naive.

We are at war with a culture inspired by Islam. I see it as a form or evil incarnated. You may not, that's your decision.

As stated previously; I hold no animosity against those who wish to live in peace. I welcome them by my side in the war against this evil form of fascism. Unfortunately, I don't see many standing to join the fight - their silence is deafening.

If the form of Islam you follow supports freedom of religion and its practice; freedom of speech; the separation of government and religious institutions; total equality among races; and total equality among the sexes than you have no argument with me. Unfortunately, for the average follower of Islam, that is the exception, not the norm.
