mentioned on ABC, but not CBS.

Also on CBS....sources say there will be no charges filed against Berger.

Let's hope that is incorrect. We need some charges to get this thing to grow. The media has been getting away with not mentioning the socks, the pants, and the fact that he did it 5 times.

I could POSSIBLY...WITH A BIG BIG STRETCH....accept his explanation that he "mistakenly" took stuff.

Except for the fact that he did it 5 times and stuffed his pants and socks. That takes a lot of effort; you don't accidentally do that.

I think they think that Berger used these stolen documents to brief Kerry.....which would be bad news for Kerry.

Kerry will be tained but he will only be hurt if he can be PROVEN to have known. I suspect he did know that there was a "cleaning" of the files done so he would be able to make national defense attack on Bush without worrying about any skeletons.

How about the fact that Kerry himself was warned about boston security lapses. Could these notes and draft memos contained information which could have put 9/11 prevention squarely in Kerry's lap?

I strongly suspect Kerry knew about the takings.

It's still an ongoing investigation .. how would CBS know?

Except for the fact that he did it 5 times and stuffed his pants and socks. That takes a lot of effort; you don't accidentally do that.

Plus there is the fact .. Berger was the National Security Adviser ... HE OF ALL PEOPLE KNOWS BETTER .. YOU DON'T DO THAT!

This bears looking into. How FNC could say this doesn't affect Kerry now that Berger resigned is beyond me. It's too soon to say that!

As bizarre as this may sound, I don't think that Berger is working for the usual suspects, i.e. the Clintons and their cronies in the Democratic Party.

This man is the closest we'll ever see to a "Manchurian Candidate." Or, in this case, a Manchurian public official.

He is owned, lock, stock and barrel, by the PRC.

He's not out for the money-though that probably helped to grease the skids-but for the power. He is essentially a tool of Hu Jintao and the corrupt gerontocracy that runs the emerging "Red Dragon" of the Asia-Pacific region.

Like the communist tools who facilitated the easy transfer of power from former European occupiers on Macao and Hong Kong to their new colonial masters, the Chinese government, Berger and people of his ilk are simply paid stooges of Mao's little red soldiers.

From an ABC NEWs Story:

"All three morning shows gave prominent attention to the news that former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger is under investigation for allegedly stealing classified information from the national archives.

Gergen Calls Timing of Berger Story "Suspicious"

David Gergen, a former advisor to both Democratic and Republican presidents, vouched for Berger on NBC's "Today," calling him a "hero" in the war on terror, a man of "utter integrity" and saying it is "suspicious that this would leak" just before the release of the 9/11 Commission's report.

"It's not even clear to (Berger) that this investigation is still under way," Gergen said, "& no charges have been brought against him."

When NBC's Katie Couric followed up and asked Gergen if he was suggesting that this story might be coming out now as a "distraction" to the 9/11 Commission's report, Gergen said, "It has those overtones. Let's let more facts come out."

Gergen said that he doesn't think the Berger story "reflects on Sen. Kerry." He did say, however, that "what would hurt the Kerry campaign would be if Sandy would have to withdraw" from his role as an advisor to the Kerry campaign. "

Check out the quote obout withdrawing in the last paragraph.

" CNN said their classification was higher than nuclear secrets ... apparently the highest."

Barney Frank's sister, Ann Lewis was on CNN and said that the papers were benign and nothing big.
In other words, memos Berger wrote to himself to pick up some milk and the dry cleaning.

However..( And I almost flew off the treadmill at the gym when I saw this )-Bob Franken of CNN acted like he worked for FOXNews and disputed Ann Lewis and even challenged how she could have any idea of the nature of the documents.
I will check the Weather Channel to see if Hell has frozen over.
Franken went on to say that the documents were beyond Top Secret-IIRC , he called them Q class.

BBBAWAAAAAAAHAAAAA!!!!

They are unraveling!!!!!

Also known as the Berger Burgle.!!!!

NOPE

This is a time when you sit back and watch the enemy self destruct all on their very own .. *L*

Bush and Co. would be wise to not jump on this .. at least for the moment
