CBS Radio news: what may turn out to be a scandal of greater significance than the Watergate break-in is being deliberately downplayed by a antional news media organization.
At the top of the 3pm hour (CST), here in Houston on station 950KPRC, the national CBS news team ommitted any reference to the Sandy Berger Scandal. They mentioned it during the 2pm (CST) news along with the chicken abuse video story from PETA. At 3 pm though they chose to continue with the PETA news story but dropped the Berger scandal entirely.
I listened to NPR on the way home. Berger was covered at about the sixth spot in their 4:00 news. The item lasted all of 30 seconds, and began "Republicans have charged former Clinton Nat Sec Adv with...". This was followed by several minutes of Bush bashing disguised as 9/11 Commission coverage. They just don't get it
Well, obviously by 3 pm Sandy Berger was already old news, while the chickens were still suffering. C'mon, get with the pogrom!
At the 1:00 P.M. news broadcast, SEE-BS read one sentence from Hastert but read a long quote by Daschle and then played a 20 second sound byte from him.
The fake story that Bush paid for a former girlfriend's abortion is a good bet.
I thought conservatives believed in tradition. What tradition is more solidly entrenched than that Democrats are above the law?.
This is just too extreme.
Besides, if he put them in his pants- it's probably just about sex.

I am just sooooooo grateful that CBS radio is fixated on the chicken abuse scandal instead of the Sandy Berglar scandal. Will you people ever, and I mean EVER, grow to adulthood?
