Sandy Berger has met much of the day with attorneys.

Among those he has hired is former Clinton administration lawyer Lanny Breuer.

Sources say Breuer has been in contact with prosecutors.

Sources also say Berger is stressing a willingness to cooperate, but investigators have not yet asked to speak with him.

Mr. Berger serves as an informal advisor to Senator John Kerry on national security matters.

Sandy, if anyone asks you if you'd like to take a ride on the GW Parkway, don't go!

Especially if its Ted Kennedy. Nothing like have plausability when an accident occurs.

What the hell does "willing to cooperate" mean? How much cooperation does your average criminal give when he's caught en flagrante dilecto?

I work in LE and the case begins to get built when the suspect opens his mouth. They've probably got a book built up now. Sandy is going DOWN! No OJ here.

Sandy Burglar: "I made a mistake.
True, I inadvertantly stole and unintentionally destroyed documents pertaining to US security.
But there was a very very important reason: To protect myself, the Clintons and our embedded "Mistress of Cover-Up" Gorelick.
Which documents to steal, you ask? Documents including those showing incremental changes in the "facts" as they were changed over time.
Why steal them, you ask? Well, because we, I mean, I could.
My mistake? After finally getting my own copy of Gorelick's book "Destruction of Evidence",
I now know that I should have just destroyed the documents right there or earlier.
"

I like that angle. We need to get Rush or Sean on that.

Rush has been on it most of the first hour. Hannity will do likewise since he's a Rush parrot.

Berger has been notified by prosecutors that he is a TARGET of the investigation.

Cooperate?

Hell no! We haven't had a chance to torture him yet.

First the torture, then he can cooperate.

HAHA! Expect Berger to have a massive stroke or coronary in the next day or two. The Klintons modis operandi is to whack the witness before they can implement them, ala Vince and Ron.

> He wants to cop a plea..

If he knows anything that's an actual threat to Bubba,
he's not just trying to minimize jail time.

The earlier pilfering reports were spinnable. But if
the sock-stuffing is true, that's not spinnable.
Berger is now expendable, and the only question is how.

My first guess is that the Dems will claim he's insane.

Co-operate?

S.Berger: "Yes, sir Mr. Prosecutor, I live in the United States. I have nothing else to say."

That's about it.

Lanny Breuer is a Clinton scumbag. They are all a corrupt disgrace. Their only talent is committing crimes and covering it up.

Berger's actions, said Breuer, were the result of sloppiness and were unintentional, and the Justice Department and the FBI have informed him Berger is the subject of a criminal probe but not a target.

You may be thinking of Lanny Davis, nerd who was one of the chief Clinton-apologist-pundits on the talk shows.

I'd pay good money to see the lot of them, Bubba and Hitlary included, tossed into a jail with some serious homosexual rapists. After all, even a convict needs a housemouse and Breuer and his ilk would fit the bill nicely!
