This is staggering!

From Ashcroft testimony, we learned that the Clinton team did not tell anyone on the Bush team about a highly classified review. The review warned of al Qaeda cells and the danger they were posing inside the U.S. We were unbelievably lucky to keep LAX from being blown apart on the eve of the new Millenium. It was basically a fluke and one alert agent.

Here are Ashcroft's words:

I did not see the highly-classified review before September 11. It was not among the 30 items upon which my predecessor briefed me during the transition. It was not advocated as a disruption strategy to me during the summer threat period by the NSC staff which wrote the review more than a year earlier. --- end quote ---

We now find out that Berger stole the documents from a secured reading room. This story is going to absolutely explode! Kerry is going to have to dump Berger. Our side has a monumentally important issue that will not only damage Kerry but also damage the Clintons. Wow.

As long as our side gets some spine and.... finally.... goes for the throat.

Does someone know exactly what was in the documents Berger stole? If it is known that they were stolen, then the contents must be logged somewhere. If there IS a backup copy, then Berger sure wasn't much of a NSA to think he could outsmart an established system of security for such documents.

If the parties were reversed, this would be Watergate, and then some. It's *huge*.

But I have a feeling we're going to hear a lot about it on the radio talk shows and on the Net, but very little in the press. They will do just about *anything* to try to elect Kerry and that might mean burying this deep inside the TIMES, etc.

Like I said above, sure hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, but don't get too excited; their side has the media megaphone that will drown out anything that hurts the Rats. We'll probably experience another long review of Bush's military records and his DUI incident.
