Just saw a Senator from MO, a Republican no less (think his name was Senator Bond) interviewed on Fox. He pretty much was saying "no biggy". What is wrong with these people? If we can't our own party reps to say this is an outrage....ohhh, this just really ticks me off.

This is the time for our Republican leaders to be shouting from the rooftops about this criminal activity by Berger to any news outlet that will listen. Are they are so afraid of being called "partisan"! So what, we're going to be called that anyway! This is making me sick. /rant

Yeah, I saw Kip Bond, too. I expected it from the democrat, but Bond has joined the "move along, nothing to see here" crowd.

They are all saying no biggie because it is big and they want the Dems to bring him down not the Republicans. Berger will be charged IMHO and the less the Republicans say about it the better. Let the investigation take its course. There will be plenty of time to be visibly outraged later.

I know how you feel. It's like watching the mother with the awful, bratty, fit-throwing kid who says very softly.....'now honey'.

Lott took the same stance this morning. Bond did take the opportunity to say that Kerry needed to indicate national security is an issue he takes seriously since Berger is an advisor.
