Do a search on here. There was an article. I can't recall the exact title, but something like Edwards' wife .....

What's that in your pants Sandy? Is it a classified report or are you just glad to see me?

Holy cow! What thread is that from?

Not this time, Paul. In this election year, Republican pros are going to do great damage with this. Let's bring it on.

"I deeply regret the sloppiness involved, but I had no intention of withholding documents from the commission, and to the contrary, to my knowledge, every document requested by the commission from the Clinton administration was produced," Berger said in a statement to the AP.
Every document requested--however, if documents disappeared without a trace, then the commission wouldn't be able to ask about them. So he was stating the literal truth, though he himself was the cause of the commission's not even being able to ask for them.

Now let's review: Berger goes through docs and perloins several. Then Lindsey raises a stink about the Bush administration "holding documents back".
Every time they howl, it is my SOP to presume I'm observing yet another textbook example of projection. (So nice to see vindication yet again.)

The press will have no choice but to cover what looks to be leading to a "perp walk" in the future. After all we are talking about 9/11 and the former top NSA official(s)! Those that choose not to cover this can watch their news operations get swept into the dustbin of history.
To: NavySEAL F-16
I wasn't dreaming and will pass this along to the media who are covering for Edwards.
The wife of vice presidential hopeful John Edwards is defending Whoopi Goldberg after the potty-mouthed comedienne attacked President Bush with an X-rated monologue at Thursday night's Kerry-Edwards fundraiser in New York.
Rejecting calls for her husband's campaign to apologize for Goldberg's outburst, Mrs. Edwards said Friday that the anti-Bush tirade was justified." "A lot of people are going to be angry - there's a lot to be angry about," she told reporters at a fundraising breakfast on Manhattan's West side. "It's a free country and people are going to express that anger."

This has been one helluva good time on this thread tonight. I hope I'm not dreaming. And what a week this might turn out to be!
All I can say is 'wow.'

What is a puzzle to me is Berger knows exactly how he was being recorded. He knew he couldn't take anything out of the building in his pants or anything. Something is not adding up here. It almost seems to be on purpose. I don't get it.
Your right, I don't trust these people at all.
This was just too easy. Their not that dumb. BS detector going off big time.
Only thing I can figure is Berger, you take the hit on this and we will make it up.
I'm telling you all, Sid Blumenthal and Terry McCaluliff are somewhere behind this. (And possibly BC) Sandy Berger is going to be a more rich man somewhere. I still don't get this one. It is too easy and too convienent.

It will dominate comedy too. The pants. Expect Clinton-pants jokes galore. There is something soooo undignified about stuffing documents down your pants. How did that Chuckles the Clown ditty go?
A little song
A little dance
A little seltzer down your pants.

Let's put this into media perspective... can you imagine if this was Condi getting caught? I will use that as my gauge. Coverage is one thing, placement another.
Ten bucks sez tomorrow's NYPost makes me smile.

This story is what, five hours old--tops--and still my jaw drops open whenever I think of Sandy Berger jamming documents in his pants to sneak them out of the saferoom...and then returning later to jam into his pants the replacement copies so that he might steal those as well.
It seems like such a bizarre, outlandish, surreal story. Can it possibly be true? And what could he possibly have been thinking?
I think I just might possibly have seen it all. Maybe.
