Quote of the Day: -
One of the things that has worked well is the free trade agreement with Chile, and we talked about that today. It turns out, Chilean exports to the United States are up, but United States exports to Chile are up, as well. And that's a positive development. It's good for the people of Chile and it's good for the people of the United States. And our relations are strong and they're important relations.
I might be first.
Please wait until I'm finished before posting or re-posting any pictures. Thank you.

The 30-second Wine Adviser has picked out a couple of Chilean reds from a slightly higher price niche, both made by respected producers that receive critical acclaim ... and both of which are scheduled stops on the Rancho San Diego tour.
"Now, this is more like it! I opened both wines with a simple steak dinner, char-grilled medium-rare in the Argentine fashion, and was much impressed. The wines were significantly different: A Cabernet Sauvignon from Montes Alpha was ripe and fruity and overtly oaky, a crowd-pleasing "New World" or "international-style" wine, while a Merlot from Casa Lapostolle's upscale "Cuvée Alexandre" line was much more Bordeaux-like and "Old World" in character. But they were both very fine wines indeed, well worth their slightly special-occasion price, and more than sufficient to help me overcome my temporary prejudice about Chilean wine."
Thanks for the ping!

Oooooh, Bush is making a fashion statement in his elegant BROWN suit. Reagan was the only President in recent times to dare to wear a BROWN suit. Most of DC favors dark blue. I think W looks quite dashing!
Ok, I am loving the brown suit.

Is he losing weight ?
he needs to come over to the house for a good home cooked meal and a big ole slab of home made apple cobbler !
Maybe thats just a new suit !
LOL, I see we agree about the brown suit.
WOO HOO! You ARE first!
Man oh man, I had to type fast. ;^)
Great pictures of the President Thanks for posting them
I think it's a new suit AND I think he isn't made to wear all that body armor to go to St. John's to Church. Therefore, he looks thinner.
I like brown suits. My Dad, although a definite "Winter" in color, looked spectacular in brown suits, and I always loved to buy him ties to go with them.
Then when I first moved out on my own, I made my Dad a brown suit - and he wore it proudly, announcing to all that his daughter had made it. (Nobody believed him! A subtle plaid, I had meticulously matched all the dang lines, and done all the handsewing on the lapels to make them turn back perfectly.) No one believed that I'd made it!
But he did look great in it. It was something I wanted to keep, after he died, but it somehow disappeared before I got home from Spain for the funeral.
Okay, returning everyone to the chatty happy news of tonight's Dose.
I'm off to get some dinner fixed and et. Be back directly.
