Yep thousands of souls died there...
Esp stay away from Africawatch. Jan L has lost his mind.
And burned most of the farmland north of the Vaal river to a crisp, the infamous "scorched earth" policy. 28,000 Afrikaner women and children died in the 2 largest concentration camps.
I know, but a lot of companies seem to have a lot of managers. That's what I meant when I said underground railroad. The guy I just talked to is white and I don't know his status. He was looking at a property of mine (I'm sure just to comp what he really wants). I may see him later tonight and I'll ask. The L-1s are mostly Indian.
Onces here,ILLEGALLY,should they make it,just how are they going to make a living?
So was I.:-)
Yes,they did.
Poor Jan,he lost it well over a year ago! And his book is grabage.
Our company has a lot of L-1's, and it does help the company deliver expertise with international experience. The regulations for L-1's will also change soon, there currently is a bill in Congress which will make it more similar to H1B's. Renewal is also more difficult, it has to be done outside the US now. The Indians only get access for one year at a time, then they have to renew. Also, you can stay in the US for a maximum of 7 years with an L-1, enough time to get a green card.
He still has interesting pic's etc there, I don't care much for the conversation though.
In a nutshell all you have to do is get a tourist visa, take the trip, and stay.
Jobs are easy to get and most Americans are the kind of folks to NOT turn in an illegal alien.
BTW, for myself, if it's a choice between breaking the law or getting killed, that law is going to get broken every time. What is it we say? Better to be judged by 12 (on a jury) than carried by 6 (in your funeral).
On the other hand, the Brits didn't really intend to murder all those women and children. As usual, they forgot to examine their prior history in keeping prisoners.
And, BTW, Adolph Hitler really didn't need British advice and counsel about how to kill people. He and his German associates were quite capable of figuring out that part on their own.
To be clear, I was refering to Indians from Zimbabwe. My buddy is Indian from Zim and there is a constant flow of new arrivals in his circle of friends. I'll see if I can find out anything.
If you are white, and willing to work, and even educated, then of course, you are denied any possiblity of entering America. But, if you are of dark skin and want to jump on the welfare system, then you are welcome. If you are mooSlim, feel free to come on over.......
Many Afrikaners are NOT rich, some are old, some are very young, and you want them to leaves everything with the clothes on their backs, little money, and illegally come here,to do what...clean houses and do manual labor, that they don't know how to do? People with college degrees should do WHAT?
THEY DON'T SPEAK DUTCH! They speak AFRIKAANS and English and some tribal languages;some also speak German,Hungarian,Portuguese,French, and Hebrew.
You want them and us to live in fear of being found? And what do we do about the kids going to school?
You and your uneducated ilk,who come onto these threads talking gibberish and utter nonsense, should just read the posts of those who know what's what and learn something.
Oh, so sorry, the Brits merely intended to have them in a vacation camp and forgot the instructions. The Brits knew full well what they were doing, it was war, and the concentration camps were purposefully left in a bad state to make the enemy weaker.
"Pakenham describes the events in South Africa and this moment: in order to break the stalemate Kitchener initiated plans to "flush out guerrillas in a series of sytematic drives, organized like a sporting shoot, with success defined in a weekly 'bag' of killed, captured and wounded, and to sweep the country bare of everything that could give sustenance to the guerrillas, including women and children. . . . It was the clearance of civilians -- uprooting a whole nation -- that would come to dominate the last phase of the war."
From "The Boer War" by Thomas Pakenham.
OK, great. It sure is a viable option, just takes around 3 years to build up the necessary credentials to get an L-1.
