Although the Brits are usually given all the credit for creating concentration camps, the custom is far more ancient. We can read in the Bible, for instance, about how the Babylonians relocated the leadership-elite in Judah to what amounted to a concentration camp.

On the other hand, the Brits didn't really intend to murder all those women and children. As usual, they forgot to examine their prior history in keeping prisoners.

And, BTW, Adolph Hitler really didn't need British advice and counsel about how to kill people. He and his German associates were quite capable of figuring out that part on their own.
