Another opportunity lost: the Republicans should have agreed and insisted on
posting of UN and other monitors in St. Louis, Milwaukee, reservations in South Dakota
and in all the states that Gore won by a whisker in 2000.

That would have made this good cat-fight into a great one.

Cool. Hoeffel voted to allow the UN to monitor. He's now running for senate vs. Arlen Specter.

I know about Arlen, but he has an R after his name and he did vote for the marriage amendment.

Only 33 dems voted to prohibit his. Imagine if they controlled the house. The 161 who voted for this should be bannished from the house.

You really want the UN monitoring our elections, or are you being sarcastic?

Surely you jest.

Sandlin - D-TX - only voted yes because he is one we will hopefully lose this fall, due to the re-districting. I know I will vote against him.

All those that voted no are traitors.

Hoekstra = Aye.

And there he is ladies and gents. Ok, he did good this time. He usually does good. But I am still ticked at him. Hoekstra, you get my vote one last time. But this is it!

We have to get you out of Washington D.C. before you start becoming like them. You are already showing signs.

Surely you jest.

Yes. The last group that should be validating any country's elections is the UN.
But I think the Republicans should have pulled back the veil on Democratic
voting shenanigans during this Demo temper-tantrum.

We don't need the UN nosing into our business.

We don't need the UN trying to steal the Internet.

We don't need the UN's International Court.

We don't need the UN trying to tax US citizens.

We don't need the UN sticking its nose into our elections---we've been handling elections for well over 200 years--much longer than the UN has even been in existence.

The UN has enough of a situation just trying to clean up its own Food for Oil scam of the Iraqi people.

Looks like my Rep from Missouri, Ike Skelton, didn't even attend. Wonder how many DEMS just didn't show up so as not to offend the Party or their constituents?

Any election "monitoring" by the UN is a surrender of US sovereignty, and as much as I believe the dimocraps steal elections and votes, I cannot support it.

I respectfully disagree. The UN can be bought, and the RATS know it. Their word would be final, giving the election to Kerry.
