I want to put together a video for streaming. I want to show the contrast between Bush and the left, hoping to get African Americans to consider conservatism.
I would also appreciate any other input on how the video should go. I have not made up my mind fully what I want. I will make it available for any one who wants to run it on TV.

Blacks' Rating of Bush Soars after Attacks
From Wire Reports
Posted Oct. 4, 2001 - African Americans' approval rating of President Bush's performance in office soared to its highest ever in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, according to several opinion polls.
Some 70 percent of Blacks now approve of the job the president is doing, according to a Gallup poll.
Keeping Americans safe means keeping ALL Americans safe, regardless of race, color, ethnicity and various preferences.

He signed the Partial Birth Abortion ban.
Dozens of young Americans, some of whom are black, have Bush to thank for their lives.

First, I would refer to all the President's accomplishments as we are all Americans first. Second, quoting from Rod Paige (Bush's secretary of education, who is black) the President has 1) Appointed more African Americans to high-profile posts 2) committed more funds to fight AIDS in Africa 3) championed minority homeownership (which is the highest of all time) and 4) supported more trade and aid for African and Caribbean nations than any other administration.
Paige also said that President Bush, through his education policies alone, has done more for the African-American community than any previous president, including Clinton. He calls that a secret that some black leaders don't want millions of African-American voters to know. (All of his thoughts were in yesterday's Wall Street Journal.)
The President is telling it the way it is, people get ahead by empowering themselves not by pretending the government will empower them.

He's fighting the war on terror and killing terrorist scum that want to kill me and you and our kids and grandkids. If African Americans are Americans that ought to be enough.

Contact Austin Dragon, Regional Coordinator for Bush/Cheney in Los Angeles, and President of the South Central Republicans. His email address is:

A large majority of African-Americans support vouchers, as does the President. He is also a supporter of faith-based initiatives which would help inner-city churches administer social services.

IIRC a record number of minorities (not all blacks) own their own homes, and I think it is somewhere around 1.5 million new home owners; not sure the time frame. You might check nahb.org This is due to the tax breaks Bush enacted and it jump started the housing industry and got the economy moving. people don't realize the effects his cuts have had.

Thank you for starting this discussion. It seems like Bush is so busy taking care of ALL Americans that he does not really need to be involved with the type of groups that are mostly in existence to help their leaders and add hugh (I mean huge) chips on certain shoulders.
Yes, it is Friday afternoon. May God bless us all in His will.

You're welcome, and I thank Southack.
I try to slip in this list to those that are looking for it, or those that like to claim GWB hasn't done anything.

Tax cuts don't care what skin color you are. Neither do jihadists. Huck, I am almost tempted to change my tagline. This is an excellent point/t-shirt/bumper sticker.
