McKinney Returns On An Ill Wind

I can only hope that Michele Malkin and the JWR have merely hit the panic button when they forcast a return to national prominence of Cornell University Professor, Cynthia McNutJob. Here are some gruesome details of why this woman needs to be deported to Yemen, rather than elected to Congress again.

Her campaign donors frequently show up on most wanted posters. Here are some prize-winning examples.

In 2000-'01, she got $3,000 from Abdurrahman Alamoudi, founder of the Washington-based American Muslim Council.

In October 2003, Alamoudi was arrested and charged with engaging in illegal financial transactions with the Libyan government. Court documents allege he's given financial backing to Hamas and al Qaeda. He is also cooperating with the FBI regarding his role in a conspiracy, allegedly headed by Libya's Col. Moammar Khadafy, to murder Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah.

In 2000, she got $1,000 from Sami Al-Arian and $1,000 more from his wife. Al-Arian is the former University of South Florida professor who was indicted last year on charges that he served as North American leader of the terrorist organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

McKinney has also accepted substantial donations from individuals linked to the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, the Benevolence International Foundation and the Global Relief Foundation — three Muslim "charitable" organizations now labeled Specially Designated Global Terrorist entities by the U.S. Treasury Department.

McKinney has led the charge on behalf of conspiracy theories that President Bush knew all about 9-11 and did nothing to stop it. She and her father are vocal in their anti-semetic beogtry. According to the venerable Mr. Mckinney, the only reason Darling Cynthia ever lost an election is because of "J-E-W-S, Jews". Based on her donor list, Cynthia McKinney is a rotten apple that hasn't fallen far from a poisonous tree.

I can only hope the voters in her district have too much self-respect to allow this nut-case to represent their hopes and aspirations. No matter how much this woman's stupidity helps the GOP on the national level, she is a blackguard and a malefactor. I can only hope that she will never hold elected office again.

Its interesting that when she started spouting nutcase conspiracy theories, the democrats distanced themselves from her. Now that the democrats have all gone batty they embrace the idiot again.

I think its a good thing she is running once again. It hurts the Democrats, it hurts the Kerry Campaign.

Cause you know she's going to do, or say, something so far out of touch with reality it will be a dominating news story before November rolls around.

She makes a very good Albatross for the DNC.

That's our system. It lets people elect Kennedys and McKinneys if they want 'em.

Agreed that McKinney is a nutcake, but be aware that George Bush also took $2,000 from Alamoudi during this time period, and he gave money to John Sununu and the Republican National Committee as well.

I live here in Atlanta, though not in her district. I can only conclude there are a lot of voters buying what she is selling. Sad, but true.

True. People elect their representatives, those that reflect their beliefs and values. Barbara Lee took a lot of flack for being the lone vote against going into Afghanistan, but you have to give her credit for accurately representing her constituency (Berkeley, CA).

If Ms. Mckinney were of the white race, she would never have made it this far. Is it true she smokes something that gives her these wild ideas?

I live in Georgia's 4th Cong. District - where Jihad Cynthia was elected and where she is running again - fortunately, thanks to shifting lines, I didn't have to live in her district when she was actually in Congress.

To give credit where it is due, I have to say that your statement that Democrats "embrace" McKinney is far from the case. Every Dem I know in my area would vote for just about anyone over her. She does have some strength in south DeKalb County, her base, but she is far from popular among Democrats district-wide, and most of the Dems I know applauded her defeat in '02, along with the defeat of her idiot "I'll cut ya" father in his statehouse race.

What's your take on this race? I live next to you in John Lewis' district.

The top candidates in the 4th District are Cynthia, a 68 y/o Jewish woman, Liane Levetan and a lesbian, Cathy Woolard. Cynthia takes the southern part of the district, Liane takes the northern part and Woolard takes the middle, the area around Emory University. Looks like a run-off situation, but I'm just guessing.

Generally, I think your take is correct, with a little tweaking. Cyn-bad will carry S. DeKalb, but not by a huge margin, while Levetan will carry Dunwoody. The Emory area will be split between Levetan and Woolard - trust me, that's where I live. Lots of Levetan signs, and Woolard signs are rare. She is an able adminstrator, but she has some problems in this race, not the least of which is the perception that she is City of Atlanta, not really 4th District - she doesn't even live in the district. Levetan will snag about 35-40%, McKinney 25-30%, Woolard 15-20%. In the runoff, it will come down to turnout, and I think Levetan will win.

The Lewis-McKinney comparison is interesting. I lived in Lewis' district when they kept moving my district lines, so I never had to say McKinney was my rep. Even though the two of them probably vote the same way 97% of the time, I didn't have any real qualms having Lewis as my rep. Despite disagreements on politics, he seems like an honorable guy and was extremely cordial the couple of times I met him. McKinney needs a blindfold and a cigarette.

From the yard signs I've seen I don't think Cynthia will be getting many votes in the Emory area as she has in the past.

Rush mentioned Cynthia today and sounded exasperated that she is still around. Hopefully next week will be the beginning of the end of Cynthia's political career.

SMALL WORLD

We were rolling strong toward the primary
Then the Jews combined with the GOP
They both chose to defame the great McKinney name
It's the Jews' world, after all

Those J-E-W-S
Those J-E-W-S
Those J-E-W-S
It's the Jews', Jews' World

I could tell that they had been getting p*ssed
We had taken money from terrorists
They were sending in cash…about Bush we talked trash
It's the Jews' world, after all

Even daddy lost…it was quite surreal
Both elections we have just watched them steal
They were sending in cash…about Bush we talked trash
It's the Jews' world, after all

Those J-E-W-S
Those J-E-W-S
Those J-E-W-S
It's the Jews', Jews' world

I am quite prepared to incite a mob
I am mad 'cause I have to find a job
They were sending in cash…about Bush we talked trash
It's the Jews' world, after all
