I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure this was posted in another thread.
Yeah, it's scary that women this stupid are allowed on planes.
How dare those nasty middle eastern men use the bathroom?
Certainly scared the pants off me.
Holy crap bump!!!
1. The crew will immediately deal with you as if you were a terrorist -- and divert the flight to the nearest airport.
2. Nobody will be permitted to leave their seats -- including the 14 Arabs who were moving back and forth to the lavatories.
3. The 14 Arabs will spend the rest of their lives wondering who the hell this white dude thought he was, trying to hijack their plane.
Wow! That story is terrifying. I don't know if I would have been able to remain as calm as the writer. It appears that they were on a "dry run" of some kind....Unfortunately, it is only a matter of time before something bad happens in the sky again.
wow
That is frightening. I must say though, I regularly fly out of Metro, and a dozen or so Middle Easterners on a flight is common-place, given the population of Detroit. Given that, however, this story is even more frightening, as not once on any flight that I have been on where are a couple dozen middle easterners do they all act in synch.
In fact, the race doesn't matter. If I saw ANY group of people acting the way this woman described, I would be suspicious. It could be McVeigh types, or eco-terrorists, or any other group.
OK, I am officially shaken. I just made a couple of flights out of LGA and Dayton. The security checks were the most thorough since my Thankgiving flight in 2001.
I'm thinking the arab suiciders are thinking to blow up an airliner with an infligh assembled bomb during landing over a city is not only easy to pull off,it's unexpected at this point.
These Syrians dudes may have nothing to do with terrorism at all, but to call their behavior on the plane strange would a major understatement. It seems to me almost as though they were looking to provoke some kind of incident or reaction from others on the plane, to see just how far they could go.
Yesterday, I sent the link to this article to Andrew Sullivan.
Today, he leads with it.

bump.
Chilling story.............PC gone mad and way past time to get rid of Mineta.
What I can not figure out is why the passengers on the plane and the flight crew did nothing about this. At the first sign of this activity, I would have confronted these guys, told them to sit down and stay in their seats for the rest of the flight.
I would have inserted myself into their little bathroom line and barged in ahead of them to see what they were doing.
Were the regular passengers on this flight nuts? Just sitting there witnessing something like this taking place? Talk about watching someone prepare to kill you.
And I agree with you. A must read.
the good news is that new regulations came about due to this

TERROR IN THE SKIES III
By Michelle Malkin · July 16, 2004 03:05 PM
I have been speaking with Brendi Rawlin of Porter Novelli (PR rep for Womens Wall Street). According to Brendi, the Washington Post has been sitting on the true story of Annie Jacobsen's "Terror in the Skies" account since last Friday. Dave Adams, the air marshal's spokesman, not only confirmed the story, but has also apparently supplied witness statements and other corroborations of Jacobsen's account. NBC Nightly News, ABC, and Dateline NBC are now on the story as well.
More to come...
Here's that story.
this story now being covered on the Tammy Bruce radio show on KABC 790AM in Los Angeles...
(sorry, no streaming audio for this show...)
