Michael Savage: Get Rid of the RINO Republican Senators
Savage | 14 Jul 04 | Savage

Posted on 07/14/2004 7:15:20 PM PDT by xzins

As I was driving home a bit ago from Wednesday night church, I turned on Savage. He was on a rant about ridding ourselves of the RINO Republicans who had back-stabbed social conservatives on the Federal Marriage Amendment.

The names are: McCain (AZ), Snowe (ME), Chaffee (RI), Campbell (CO), Sununu (NH), Collins (ME)

It is very clear that McCain and Campbell stabbed conservatives in the back. They are under no pressure in their states to be "more liberal." They simply chose to side with gays over their own party.

The answer is as Michael Savage says. We must get rid of them. What real benefit has John McCain been to the Republican conservatives? He authored anti-first amendment Finance Reform. He votes for the sodomizing of America and, therefore, against families. He attacks the success of the military in Iraq. Can someone tell me what he's good for?

Bu...bu...but....we need their votes. Only temporarily.

Their states, except for Colorado and Arizona, are Al Gore democrat states. We can't win in those states with real conservatives. So why waste money doing so. Why not put that money into Thune's race in S. Dakota, a state that should have 2 conservative senators. The same with Colorado. It should have 2 conservative senators.

What states should, but don't, have 2 conservative senators? Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia.

Stop wasting conservative money on Maine, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.

I now know who Bill Frist meant when he hinted in the spring that he would have tried the nuclear option on judicial appointments, but he knew some of the Republicans would vote against him.

Not Rino's, even....but Democrats Except for Party.

It's not as simple as Savage makes it sound.

You don't have to be a RINO to oppose a Constitutional Amendment on the Definition of Marriage.

I oppose amending the Constitution unless it's absolutely necessary. I feel the same way about the "Flag Protection Amendment." We shouldn't abuse the Constitution for political issues.

This should be a State issue. So should abortion, sodomy laws, etc. I say this understanding the murky nature of the "Full Faith And Credit Concerns."

Sorry, this vote is not a RINO definer. Savage is blowing smoke.

If one reads the founding Republican Platform of 1896, they're ALL RINOs by comparison..even the ones we consider Conservative. I'm game. It's past time to clean house. :0)

Well if you listened to FOX News and the "Log Cabin" Repubbies....both Big John and the LCR were talking over the conservative Christian on the Marriage Protection Amendment

The Christians were being accused by the Log Cabins of 'dividing the party' and 'playing into' the Dems hands....FOX News' Big John took that same tact...

Nowhere did either of them cop to being the one's dividing the party...especially considering
that sodomy, sodomite marriage and the promotion of sodomy...isn't really a traditional Republican plank...

.......or at least it didn't used to be

The sodomite Log Cabin Repubbies claimed to be able to deliver over a million and a half votes for GW....(between them and all their relatives..friends and neighbors I guess)...(making their point of view more important to the GOP victory than the Christian conserative view...)

The LCR accused the Conservative Christians who believe that Marriage is mandated by God
to be between one man and one woman...the very first covenant between man and God...

Fox news or at least Big John supported the LCR position...

imo

Sununu is in the pocket of the Jihadis...he's pro-Pali-scum, and a buddy to the ME thugs, a la Cynthia McKinney!

He also has been one of the obstructors to GWB's Energy bill.

Those who say this should be a state issue are overlooking the requirement for all states to accept the legal acts of any other state. (Full Faith Credit?)

Therefore, this cannot and will not be confined to one state.

LOL, that was my thought as well: Savage on a rant? whodathunkit?

People who don't listen to Rush always say that Rush is an arrogant blowhard, filled with invective. Rush is none of those things, but Savage is.

Watch for more fireworks from the Log Cabin gang. Us mean old troglodytes here in southern Arizona have targetted our Log Cabin RINO congresscritter, Jim Kolbe, for involuntary retirement.

that's some Common Sense you're peddling! folks often complain more about RINOs (sure they're irritating) more than the dirty RATs themselves (the true enemy)

Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia.

Florida has lots of retired yankees and is getting harder to win.

Iowa has a large rural population that seems to think (like FDR) that the Feds should care for them.

Louisiana has a large, urban, black population and very odd voting patterns. Hard for us to win.

Pennsylvania seems to be drifting to the left.

All the rest you have a shot at, after the King of Pork dies in WV.

Savage is an idiot.

Ever since he told somebody he hoped they got AIDS and died I have zero respect for anything he says.

You and ct need to go to post #21 and count up the votes if we got conservative senators in fly-over states (a real possibility.)

We can tell the Rinos to take a hike.

Of course, we'll do it politely and one by one rather than all at once. If we have a Rino proof conservative majority, then the rino's (who are just whores like jumpin' jeffords; disirous of a committee chairmanship) will come boot lickin' soon enough.

Or...like chameleons, they'll change their colors.
