I just saw a Slim-Fast ad with Whoopi on JUST now - 7pm Wednesday. USA Network, I think it was. Hopefully this means we won't be seeing any more......

It just means she won't be doing any more commercials, and it sounds like the existing commercials will be removed as soon as is feasible.
A good reason to continue to NOT buy Slimfast! There are plenty of other products out there.

Pretty great news. Not to change the subject, but if I remember correctly, she offended a lot of people the two times that she hosted the Academy Awards (for being sleazy and tacky). I'm really quite amazed that people keep giving this woman such lucrative jobs....
By the way, what happened with her and Hollywood Squares a while back? She used to be one of the producers of it (as well as the center square) before another company took it over. Was it a temporary gig or was she let go from that too?

I hope "will not appear" means that she's off the payroll. Knowing the corporate mind rather well they may continue to pay her through the life of the contract in order to avoid a lawsuit.

Well, I didn't have to send this email asking you for action because, THOUSANDS of DECENT AMERICANS took action, and this evening Slim-Fast has renounced Whoopi Goldberg for her vulgar comments regarding the president!
Thank you all for your actions! Slim-Fast has seen what the Kerry campaign can't seem to: The great MAJORITY of the American public, of ALL PARTIES, are NOT for the liberal 'values' that Kerry said after Whoopi's comments represent the "Heart and Soul of America". Kerry sat and listened to the vulgarity and had the opportunity to renounce it, unlike when Clinton had his 'Sista Soulja moment', resourcing a rapper for hate speech.
Kerry made a GROSS miscalculation about YOU and ME. In the coming days, Kerry will surely flip-flop on this matter.
DON'T LET HIM FOOL YOU, OR ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!
This episode shows the LEFTIST agenda Kerry & Edwards have in mind for America, but there is something they forgot: The SILENT MAJORITY won't be SILENT anymore!

Can you do me a favor? If you have a minute, call Slim-Fast at 1-800-SLIM FAST (800-754-63278) and tell them you are disgusted with them for having Whoopi Goldberg as a spokesperson for Slim-Fast because of the vulgar way she talked about the president.
I guarantee you they will agree with you and tell you they took her off the website, but tell 'em that you won't buy their products till they publicly denounce her. It is having a great effect and they will do it if the pressure continues! This is the only way to get the people who sponsor this garbage to STOP IT, once and for all!
How can someone not be offended by her remarks? I would think Slim-Fast would not want to be associated with someone that does not have even a hint of class.
