Several years ago I gathered up all of mine, got some large art paper, and the kids and I made up a board game called "Noah's Ark" in which the jungle animals had to come off the ark and go to the "jungle" area, the arctic animals had to go to an "arctic" area, and so forth. There is even an area called "my back yard" where the puppies, kitties, ponies, bunnies, etc. go.

They love it. Partly because they helped create it, but also because it's a fun game for about age 10 or 11.

I always thought about sending it to Red Rose, but never got around to it.

It's the first time I've ever done anything quite like that, and, doggonit, it felt great!

Doesn't it, though?! Especially when you are one of many and you know you are punching hard with a mutual fist... each tiny letter makes a difference and conservatives are accomplishing a LOT!

Danny Glover was dumped by MCI, Jeanine Garafalo lost her new sitcom, the Ronald Reagan slander movie was canceled from CBS, the Dixie Chicks are in the toilet... and those are just the ones we know about. There may have been other companies considering use of someone like Susan Sarandon that decided against offering them jobs because of the potential of their embarrassing the company politically.

The kids played with them a lot when they were little but not very much now. The neat thing is that they know I don't care about them so they are always welcome to grab the knick-knacks and help themselves ;-)

Some are cute in the plants, like the turtles and elephants, etc... but the 3 blue whales look a bit odd in my asparagus fern LOL

Has anyone seen a commercial?

I saw a slimfast commercial, complete with Whoopi at approximately 12:30 est this afternoon. She is not a goner yet, but that may just be due to contractual obligations, but more likely someone is waiting for an executive decision announcement from way up on high (CEO's office) before everything is pulled. It will depend on damage done. MCI did not pull Danny Glover until it was obvious they had to. They are still paying for that debacle.

Add me to the list of former consumers of your products as a result of the disgusting display of vulgarity and disrespect towards the President by Whoopi Goldberg, your spokesperson.

My family of five was loyal consumers of several of your products, including Hellmans mayonnaise, Lipton tea, Dove soap, and Surf laundry detergent. I can tell you that I have used Hellmans mayonnaise and Lipton teas because that is what my parent's used.

The only way you will ever regain my family's business is to publicly denounce Ms Goldberg's comments and end your relationship with her.

WOW ! That is an incredible 1 day loss and one that is directly attributable to a single factor. Our words have consequences. I can't help but think Unilever's shareholders will demand the marketing department do likewise.
