The majority of Marines are professionals and do not engage in this type behaviour. I understand there are those that do at times, but all entities have their bad apples.

I'm just the lucky one that got the first (as far as I can tell) phone call response. I am so proud of Freepers for their willingness to take time to express their opinions in the way they have and heartened that Whoopi might think twice about the way she speaks of the president of the US in the future. The weight loss giant is apparently reacting to a huge backlash from consumers, and worried investors, after their spokesperson, Whoopi Goldberg, lobbed vulgar obscenities at President Bush this weekend. John Kerry failed to condemn those attacks supposedly because the event brought in $7.5 Million for the Democrats. Instead, Kerry praised the celebrities for conveying "the heart and soul of our country." The parent company, Unilever [trading symbol UN] was referring all correspondence and complaints about Goldberg's hate-speech, to Slim-Fast's marketing dept. .....Wall Street has noticed, as Neil Cavuto reported yesterday; the 2% drop in Unilever's stock price Tuesday was attributed a new Conservative boycott of its subsidiary Slim-Fast. That amounts to a one-day LOSS of $1.2 BILLION dollars..........

....and if that hate-filled broad ever shows her crumb-bum face on TV ever again, we will demand she be taken off........

Actually, she was the perfect spokesit for the lunatic liberal President of Slim Fast. He has supported the libs for decades and hates GW. She was no accident re his choice of her.

Showing her in Slum Fast Commercials was his way of rubbing it in our faces re with every commercial.

Hopefully she will become as unemployed as Ed Asner is. No one wants to use him for anything. Whoopi and Ed would be a perfect couple for each other.

Lets make her as employable as Ed Asner. Asner's vile hatred of America and republicans has made him basically unemployable. Whoopi needs to become another Ed Asner, where no one will hire her to do anything.

Maybe the Oscars can use her as their next emcee? That might just start the closure of Follywood as it is now.

I and my family will not purchase or consume your products or any other products produced by your parent company (Unilever) as long as Ms. Goldberg continues as your company's spokesperson.

Her vulgar display at a recent Democratic political event was insulting to many of us. I know that she's intitled to her views, but I'm also entitled to "vote with my pocketbook". Any money she gets comes from the company which, in turn, comes from the customer...well, she's not getting any of mine.

Until such time as she leaves her position as spokesperson, I will find substitutes for any and all products made by Unilever. I will encourage family and friends to do likewise. Slimfast has made a choice and now will have to live with the consequences."

It's the first time I've ever done anything quite like that, and, doggonit, it felt great!
