Maybe I will return my six pack and tell them why.
Nah, too much headache, besides, I might be tempted to buy that two pound bag of cinnamon candy and defeat the diet/exercise purpose.

Fair enough I suppose. However, as a former marine, it is hard to IGNORE a false representation of what the Marine Corps and/or it's representatives are saying. I'll use Abu Ghraib as a contrast...there were a few who took actions that did not represent the standing of the overall military. And then there were a few more who totally misrepresented it, blew it out of proportion in an effort to totally mirepresent today's military in it's treatment of prisoners.
Anyway, fair enough!! Thanks for taking the time to discuss.
Regards and Semper Fi !!

I switched from Country Crock a year ago to SMART BALANCE! A switch I have never regretted! Smart Balance taste EXACTLY like butter and has O grams of Trans Fatty Acids for my Cholestrerol!!

Why would you do that now? It looks like they erased all mention of Whoopi from their website. Has anyone seen a commercial? There may be some buys out there, but I have a feeling she's a goner. And if Libs are the predictable sort they are, we'll be hearing from her soon about it.

I agree regarding Abu-Ghraib. I would add that it was THE MEDIA that blew Abu-Ghraib out of proportion. 28 CONSECUTIVE days on the front page of NY Times is BS/LIBERAL media bias/hate for BUSH !! I have added "Parody pic" in my disclaimer/warning. :^D

but I have a feeling she's a gonerI just sent this to try to get her gone faster:)
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to let you know how utterly incensed I am about the incident concerning Ms. Whoopie Goldberg at Radio City Music Hall.
Now Im not so ignorant as to believe everyone in the country must agree politically with one other. On the contrary, its one of the things that makes America, well, American! The conduct there however was WAY beyond a mere difference in political ideology. It was a vulgar, alcohol sodden display full of naked hate and foam-flecked vitriol. A personal attack directed at a decent man doing the best job he can.
If someone has a differing political opinion, fine! Let them pursue their differences via reasonable discourse, not spew foul names for intimate body parts while drunkenly waving a wine bottle at a public event.
To be honest, I personally dont use Slim-Fast, but in reviewing the products of your parent company, Unilever, I have discovered several products I do normally purchase for my family on a regular basis...or I should say DID purchase. I will no longer have ANY products from your company in my house as long as you monetarily support such an infantile, filthy-mouthed excuse for a spokesperson.
After all, I avoid items that are close to others I consider disgusting and dirty...sometimes the contamination can spread

You have to ask yourself just how stupid are some of these corporate executives? The should make it a rule that any celebrity who makes public political statements should be eliminated from consideration as a spokesperson. PERIOD!
They just keep putting their foot in it and then have to make a mad scramble. Years ago, sponsors demanded wholesome programming and if you wanted to represent their products you had to be clean. They gave up that right when they decided to hire ad companies to look after their interests. Well, it looks like that was a bad decision and they need to change it.

I was just kidding with Meek.
He knows that I have been dieting and exercising to get rid of the reamins of post-pregnancy and the negative effects of hypothyroidism.
Why buy the candy, I love cinnamon candy!!!
To: MamaTexan
I wrote a similar letter, although yours was better! I said this wasn't a US citizen expressing their political beliefs, this was a drunken tirade by the woman you pay to represent your products. This reflects who you choose to be as a Company.

Well, those are things that can't really be helped, those buys are made well in advance. The next few days I'm sure we'll hear something.
