Massive Explosion Heard in Iraqi Capital
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- A massive explosion rocked central Baghdad on Wednesday on the outskirts of the so-called Green zone.
Black smoke rose above the area. The area was once the headquarters of the U.S. occupation authorities. It now houses the U.S. and British Embassies.
There was no immediate word on casualties.

A strong explosion shakes Baghdad
A strong explosion shook Wednesday morning the center of Baghdad and a column of smoke rose perimeter of the "green Zone" which shelters the American embassy and the offices of the Iraqi authorities, according to correspondents' of the AFP.
The deflagration, which occurred towards 09H15 local (05H15 GMT) was followed by exchanges of shootings, and it were not clear for the moment if they are the explosion a booby-trapped car or shootings of rockets.
