Maybe this is one of the multiple sources for recent ominous warnings.
Bingo.
If "backstage threats" are the catalyst for the recent arrests and this surrender Bush should take credit. This is some serious hard ball that this administration is playing.
"Khaled al-Weeble."
Good one. Have you seen the SNL skit where Robert D was naming suspected terrorists and one was Iben Sheetin Mapants?
Leave the Driving to Bush.
Good catch. Thanks!
I say Free Republic should have at minimum a daily one-hour news block on FOX. Whoa Daddy! Watch the rating's fly. This news is nowhere else except for pieces and parts on FOX.
Nice digging.
He's already been tried in Egypt (in absentia), and convicted and sentenced to death, so any return there would be, shall we say, brief?
the infowarrior
You got your celebrity johns mixed up. Hugh Grant's fellatrix, Divine Brown, is all woman (despite having a drag queen name). It was Eddie Murphy who picked up a tranny ho.
Danny Bonaduce did the same, but he slapped him around when he discovered the cold hard facts, and the dude-look-like-a-lady wouldn't leave his home without being paid. He was arrested for that, too.
~~You got your celebrity johns mixed up.~~
Whoops. Mmmmmmmm. This might make an interesing board game. Maybe we should contact Mattel. "Celebrity-Hooker Matchup". I'll split the profits with you.
That's partly why I don't think Zawahiri has anything to do with Saudi amnesty. The amnesty deal is for Saudis.
I do recall some months ago, around the time of the Spring Wana campaign that there was some funny stuff going on between Yemen and Egypt regarding a brother of Zawahiri. I'd have to go back and look for the details.
Fox is reporting al Harbi shocked the Saudis when he asked to turn himself in. He is sick they are saying .....and is in a hospital tonight.
That might be more than a hint as to motive for turning himself in.
I have been thinking for some time that radio and tv could stand a show devoted to FR threads. I'm not sure about the best way to present it, but the easiest way would be to simply read the original source material that starts each thread, followed up by selected comments.
The secret here is that there are numerous people who find resources that the MSM and sometimes FOX ignores. I have found no other resource for the depth of some of the stories posted here. However, a filter would be needed for some truth detection. Now, who might that be?
Al-Harbi, who was wounded while fighting in Bosnia, taught courses in Islam at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Islam's holiest site, but dropped out of sight after the 11 September attacks. He is believed to have fled to Afghanistan via Iran at the time, and is alleged to have appeared alongside bin Ladin in a video aired by Aljazeera television in December 2001, during which he claimed that Muslim scholars "bless" the al-Qaida's actions
I think truth detection is a bit overrated. Most of the really good FR stories originate from sources that have their own following and own "respectability" rating. FR on the air would necessarily be entertainment rather than straight news.
"Entertaining Information" with a bit of humor to boot.
that was part of the whole possible AZ capture. The Paks claimed they had AZ cornered, but Loftus said the real story was that US special forces had shot up some convoy in the area - and we had two corpses we could not idenfity, we got the brother's DNA from Egypt (he is is prison as I recall) to try and match it to the corpse thought to be AZ. But it wasn't him.
