I would like to draw everyone's attention to the liberal bias on the so called "fair and balanced" site that is politics1.com. I visit this site often, and while back in the day it used to be very fair. However, now that we are in an election season, the site has slanted so far left it is too easy to tell. Just take a look at the ads on the left of the page, and the DUer's that post on the different blogs, and the negative polls and stories on George W. Bush and Republicans.
I understand that politics1.com is still on the front page of this site(freerepublic.com). I say it should be removed ASAP!
As usual, I respect any Freeper here, and your comments are welcome as always. I am just fed up with politics1. God Bless you all!
My first chance to do something revolutionary with this site! Let's fight the bias!
Hmm. Does seem to suffer an infection, doesn't it?
The left has made it impossible to enter into even apolitical discussions with them (and not just because of political correctness, I'm talking about all of the Bush is the AntiChrist/a warcriminal/thief type rants).
The owner and operator of the site, Ron Gunzberger, I don't believe attempts to hide the bias. I read it for the headlines and not much else (he lets the discussions take on a life of their own). The lists of candidates and their website links are the sole saving grace of the site.
I am not fed up with politics, but I am over fed up with liberals in any venue. Especially the so called free press we have who are so far left they are about to topple over. They are all anti America in my opinion, and are a threat to our security.
LOL! I am blind, I didn't notice you said you were fed up with Politics1!
True, but the front page still says it all! Amazing how there is a Peroutka ad though! I guess anything to take away votes from the President.
I know, I should've put the .com at the end. No big deal...
Go to the Big Guy, Jim Robinson. He'll do the right thing...
1: Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2: The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3: Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4: He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5: Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6: Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7: I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9: Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10: Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11: Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12: Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Does anyone know Jim Robinson's direct contact info?
You are now in touch ;)
I absolutely agree. I have it bookmarked and use it several times a week.
Politics1 is an incredibly valuable source if you need to find a candidate's web site or if you need a link to a local newspaper.
Ron Gunzberger is an admitted liberal and he's not real good at replying to e-mails or fixing errors on his web site (when they're pointed out to him).
But all Freepers need to do is turn on the anti-liberal filter when we're visiting the site and we'll be OK.
