He just announced this on Hardball; he said that Kerry told him this personally on the phone while they were discussing Reagan's appearance at the Democratic Convention that his first act in office if he's elected will be to sign an executive order to reverse Bush's stem cell policy.
Me, too.
And Kerry is now stuck with explaining why he think research on human beings is okay.
Must be a Phoenix University Online degree.
I told hubby about this earlier today, and his first reponse was to ask whose payroll Ron-Ron is on. He's pretty convinced someone is paying him to say these things. Besides MSNBC.
Ron Prescott could not be more unlike his father. He has NO faith in the God of his daddy.
Love those keywords! lol

His remarks at the library were so distasteful, a backhanded slap at probably the majority of people who came from around the country to pay their respects and lined the streets. Yet he continues, criticizing Bush without mercy, just as his father was criticized by the same type of visionless fools.
Well, since women are more liberal than men in general (those on FR excepted) that's not a bad theory. And it explains little Ron's views too LOL.
The chips fell far from the tree.
Dear John Kerry,
You say you believe that Life begins at Conception and you let them commit abortions anyway? How sad are you?
Perhaps you should do a Flippy and claim that they are just non-viable masses of tissue. Then, you could use your abilities of nuance to say you aren't allowing life to be destroyed at a whim.
Just a thought,
Joe
Has Michael Reagan said anything to suggest that Nancy,at the very least, will show up or make a video for the Republican Convention? Just to maybe say thank you to President Bush, the govenment and people for the beautiful and dignified funeral? Thanks
I find it hard, no, very hard to believe that some stage hand behind the scenes didn't record the entire thing?! I sure wish we could get a hold of, even a home made copy of that fund-raiser.
Precisely put.
You're right on the mark.
BRAVO!
This argument doesn't really hold water. No investor in his right mind is going to buy into something that is at serious risk of being severely restricted or banned by the government.
BINGO! THAT is an excellent point.
Precisely why a few atheists actually oppose abortion..if this is the only chance there is, then snuffing it out is even more obscene.
Kerry is a monster indeed.
I think they are referring to a speech she recently gave some times in the last few months
Everything I've read, it says just stem cell
I guess the only way to know for sure is look at the transcript
Novak's column appeared in today's
San Diego U-T.
Buckley got the little snit real good.
his FIRST ACT? that's too silly to comment on
Nancy has a greater public platform available to her than ever... Obviously she is deeply grieving, but she does have the ability to clarify if she does *not* mean embryonic stem cell research, via a statement on her website, a press release, or a letter to the editor. I would think if the press were seriously distorting her position she would immediately take steps to have her position clarified. She could have an assistant release a statement without having to be overly involved herself if she is too preoccupied with other matters at present. All it takes is one sentence: "Mrs. Reagan wishes it to be known she does *not* support embryonic stem cell research, only adult stem cell research." Absent that, I have to believe she supports it, very sad to say. I can't believe President Reagan would *ever* have approved, and surely she must know this.
JMHO.
