"Reagan also opposes Bush's stand on stem-cell research. That is the only reason Reagan accepted the Democrats' invitation, he said."

Lying tutu-wearing ingrate! He never had the 'nads to work out the pressure of having a great man for a father so he engages in post-mortem rebellion.

Why would it embarrass republicans? Ron was always a liberal, his dad loved him anyway. It's Ron who can't get over his hatred for his father, poor thing.

How does that embarrass Republicans? The du-ers were going on about this being a blow to the RNC. Weren't both the Reagan girls, Patti and Ron, always causing Nancy and President Reagan grief in some form? Ron was always a leftist, his going to the democrat convention barely makes a yawn factor one.

In true leftist form, the two girls couldn't wait to use their father's death to push their agenda against President Bush. It would surprise me if they didn't use the opportunity (their father's death) to attack the Republicans at the dem convention.

Fine. Schedule Michael to nominate Pres. Bush at our convention. I've wondered for weeks now, why the Bush/Cheney people haven't already scheduled Michael Reagan to speak at the GOP Convention. Has anyone heard whether or not this might happen?

Wouldn't dad be proud. Ron P will have to trash everything that his dad stood for.

I was reading another thread tonight and the poster said that Ron HATES (ahem!) to be called Ron Jr.

I'm not ADVOCATING this now, children, I'm just passing it along.

This is simply the demo response to Zell Miller speaking at the Repub convention. Ronny is a liberal--probably a registered demo--and it isn't news.

Who cares? Ronald P Reagan was never anything but a liberal, as is Patty. The media will make a big deal of this, but it is really just stupid, I mean, we never saw Ron for years until his Dad's funeral. Who is he anyway?

Why would this embarrass Republicans? Little Ronnie has always been a flaming, uh, liberal. Evidently grace and good judgement aren't hereditary.

Reagan, son of former President Ronald Reagan and an outspoken critic of the Bush administration,

was, IIRC, also an outspoken critic of the Reagan administration.

Not that it means anything at all, because it doesn't. Most hardcore leftists were and are stauch critics of both administrations, even if they couldn't articulate any sensible reason for being so. Let them eat cake.

I need to shower and go to bed now.

"In a move sure to embarrass Republicans..."

I'd say the only person to be embarrassed, or who should be embarrassed, is Ron himself. What an obnoxious twit.

I suspect his father would be pained if he knew what Ron was doing. Very sad.

I can't imagine he could say anything nastier, than what that ugly black 'comedienne?' said...and if Nancy thinks it's fine, then she's spitting on her husband's grave, just as surely as he is. Pretty pathetic.
