Backup electrical systems failed to kick in

A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained – six days later.

Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

I hate to say it, but the image I was working on earlier has not been saved, even though I clicked on the prompt to save it when I shut down!

I don't know if I'll get it redone tonight anymore, maybe a bit later.

Sorry for this, I'm no expert at this stuff, as must be obvious by now...

To: MamaDearest; All

I don't like the idea of people having to pay for the information either- so I locate it on other forums.

Here is yet another post from Sean regarding AQ:

"I have been inclined and have been providing such information since immediately after September 11, 2001 - and I have been working double and triple overtime since August of 2002 in researching ALL aspects of what is coming.

Some members here ridicule my efforts and knowingly attempt to disrupt the thread and information I have been providing concerning the War on Terror (ie: Operation Enduring Freedom, etc. etc. etc.) and others have been receptive and have gone on to do their own studies and post that information here and on BBS's across the nation.

You and people like you make the big mistake of thinking this is all some sort of neoconservative plot and Bushes fault. That's why I made the two-purpose comment of knowing less than nothing.

However, it is now apparent that your own search has begun, and I wish you well and Godspeed in such an endeavor. Hedging bets is a good thing.

Personally, my committment to God and Country is not subject to hedging. It's more akin to being chiseled in the eternal granite which is my very soul.

This ain't about partisan politics as it is about the concluding chapter of the current phase of human habitation on planet earth.

Now to your questions.

1. Nope, never heard of him before this. But I thank you for providing this info. I have just searched out and found his web site.
http://www.globalterroralert.com/

2. Yes, I believe he is credible. he's an international terrorism consultant and frequent contributor to National Review Online.

3. Based upon what you say he said, and my own run through his globalterroralert.com website (which meshes nicely with we have found in our research at NEIN) the answer is yes, it does jive/concur with what I know to be valid intelligence.

4. There are in my opinion the political conventions, and the election. I put high value on the possibility of an attack on 3rd anniversary of 9/11. I base this upon the value of the arabic letter "jeem" (it is the fifth letter of the arabic alphabet, but much more importantly "jeem" has a value of three (3) and is most significant in their theology and eschatology, particularly the wahabbist sect).

Most likely targets? Certainly the top tep US cities.

I will add the following which I posted today to a closed forum.

It seems to me that we are repeating history.

Prior to 9/11 there we abundant reports of AQ wanting to hijack US commercial aircraft for a major terrorist strike. The wholly accidental, yet effective, interdiction of AQ's "Project Bojinka" or "Operation Bojinka" is proof of this.

Operation Bojinka
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
(Redirected from Project Bojinka)

quote:

Operation Bojinka (also known as Project Bojinka, Bojinka Plot, Bojinga, from Arabic: ÈÌäßÉ; -- slang in many dialects for explosion and pronounced Bo-JIN-ka, except in Egyptian where it is Bo-GIN-ka) was a planned large-scale terrorist attack and precursor to the September 11 Terrorist Attacks.

The term can refer to the "airline bombing plot" alone, or that combined with the "Pope assassination plot" and the "CIA plane crash plot". The first refers to a plot to destroy 11 airliners on January 21 and 22, 1995, the second refers to a plan to kill John Paul II on January 15, 1995, and the third refers a plan to crash a plane into the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia and other buildings. Operation Bojinka was prevented on January 6 and 7, 1995, but some lessons learned were apparently used by the planners of the September 11 terrorist attacks. This article will cover all three plans.

The money handed down to the plotters originated from Al-Qaida, an international terrorist organization which was then based in Sudan. Philippines authorities say that Operation Bojinka was developed by alleged Al-Qaida operatives Ramzi Yousef and Khalid Shaikh Mohammed while they were in Manila, Philippines in 1994 and early 1995.

Several media outlets, including TIME Asia [1] (http://www.time.com/time/asia/featu...r/hambali4.html), wrongly claim that the word Bojinka means "loud bang" or "explosion" in Serbo-Croatian.

Not all media or text that refers to Operation Bojinka will call it by that name.

SOURCE:

(Use this Wikipedia source for a whole lot more information)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Bojinka

Somewhere in between came a period of complete ineptitude and dropping the ball of the intelligence bonanza Operation Bojinka provided.

This plot was not interdicted by US intelligence.

I happen to think it was Providential intervention that the plot was uncovered. A temporary reprieve for the US to get its national act together, if you will. Only God knows if the next attack will be prevented; 9/11 sure wasn't. Have we been warned as a nation by the Almighty?

I think the answer is "Yes", but the passage of a small amount of time will tell the truth about this, and our so-called "In God We Trust" national motto.

From the Wikipedia link above, it was a fire in an apartment that occurred during the night in Manila, The Philippines on Friday, January 6, 1995. That event brought on the eventual series of discoveries including Ramzi Yousef's laptop computer and had Phillippine officials in immediate contact with US officials.

Here's where I see how history might possibly be repeating itself.

We know of AQ's purchase of these weapons.

We know of AQ's desire to use them.

We know what AQ says they will do - AQ will do (unless stopped one way or another).

We know Uncle Sam knows they want to do this.

We know Uncle Sam has been actively searching for months for the rogue nukes on US soil.

So, does history repeat itself or are two handfulls of US cities rendered radioactive waste?

I wish I had the answer.

I am prepared for either eventuality.

Hmmm..I'm confused.

3 nukes will "irradiate 1/3 of CONUS"?

HUH?

This alone proves to me the claim is bunk. I see no way that 3 nukes can irradiate 1/3 of the country. (Of course, I'm no expert, but..)

Beverly
Leominster MA
Lowell MA
Newburyport
Whittier

Newburyport and Beverly are on the coast north of Boston. People leaving Boston in a hurry would go through those towns up route 95. Lowell is northwest of Boston. Again, people leaving Boston in a hurry would go up Rte 93 in that direction. Similarly, Leominster is about an hour west of Boston, located on Rte 2.
Interestingly they don't list a city in MA that is located out the Mass Turnpike, i.e., Springfield, MA. It is close to Hartford and on Rte 91 - that highway would be very crowded from New Yorkers and Connecticute folks. For that reason Bostonians would probably head north or northwest.

I need some translation help. Is it possible that "twin cities" actually refers to "sister cities"?

New York City’s ten Sister Cities: Beijing,Budapest, Cairo, Jerusalem, Johannesburg, London, Madrid, Rome, SantoDomingo, and Tokyo.

Philadelphia is a sister city to Tel Aviv.

That depends on your definition of 1/3. Are you talking about land mass or population?

Congressional report: U.S. terror warnings lack specifics

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. government terror warnings to local police and citizens fail to give the specific information many authorities say is needed to protect the public, a congressional report said on Monday.

The report follows a series of official warnings about possible attacks -- most recently voiced last week by Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge -- which lacked new intelligence or details on the threat and how to respond. The report by the General Accounting Office, the investigative arm of Congress, was based on survey of 28 agencies and 56 states. Those responding "generally indicated that they did not receive specific threat information and guidance, which they believe hindered their ability to determine and implement protective measures," the report said.

Some critics have accused President Bush's administration of using terrorism warnings as a political tool. Bush has made the fight against global terrorism a major theme of his campaign for reelection.

The administration denies playing politics with terror threats, but a GAO official said the warning system's credibility could be undermined by vague announcements.

"When the government gives warnings without more information about why they're giving them ... that inevitably leads to people questioning whether the timing is a diversion, or politically motivated," Randall Yim, the head of GAO's homeland security division, told Reuters.

The report urged the Department of Homeland Security to give "specific information about the nature, location and timing of the threat, and guidance on action to take."

A failure to deliver specific information in terror warnings can leave agencies unable to gauge risk or develop an effective response, it said.

It recommended that the department publicize threats quickly and through multiple channels, and said many authorities reported they had first learned about threat warnings from media sources.

Government officials have said that the nature of terrorist threats and the classified information on which they are often based make it difficult to give more detailed information.

But Yim said recent warnings may be counterproductive. "They didn't say what was new and they didn't suggest any additional measures to be taken other than please be a little bit more vigilant and please go about your shopping. I think that that really attacks the credibility of the government warning system."

Here is a poster on the anomalies board bringing in information about why Iran is acting so boldly recently

"Here's an article from one of Sean's favorites, J. R. Nyquist.
I read his articles posted on one of the financial websites I get analysis from.

Seems Iran's been acting up because they've got backing from China and more discreetly from Russia. These three countries and their allies want to bring the US "to its knees" according to the article.

Seems Sean's concerns of an end to life as we know it here are well justified. Kudos to Sean, not that I reassured by the current scenario, but credit is due. He's taken some heat for some of his claims here.

Here's the link Courting War with America

I can't copy the article because it can't be "reproduced without the expressed, written permission of the author."

The ME's all went to work for a certain company that delivers food. The interesting thing about this company is that the drivers themselves are approved to "check" the load after each delivery.

IMHO you've hit upon a crucial point. These ME types by obtaining their CDL certifications are now able to tamper with the food they haul. They don't have to poison the entire load, just segments of it and by doing so, can devastate the person who buys the food, the store that sells the food, and the manufacturer who ships the food. It would be a major economic hit if one by one and little by little Americans were sickened by the food they eat. Produce being strategically simple to douse with sewage or rodent droppings, etc.

When my youngest son worked at a large grocery chain, he always told me how filty some of the produce comes in and how they need to clean it before it is set out for consumers to buy. This may be a big BINGO for you jerseygirl. How else are all these people being made sick at meetings and functions, possibly where foods including fruits and/or vegetables are served, and strangely since ME types have begun their trucking careers.

So a government employee is stumping for Kerry now? That's no big surprise considering his history.

His take is also completely irrelevent. I bet he's fishing for details that he may not otherwise have access to, in order to give his liberal buddies a chance to spin.

That EBay sale of police uniforms is tailor made for terrorists. Could they really be that stupid is the question I asked myself. Then I got to thinking that about 50% of this country wants to vote for Kerry...so I know the answer to that question and it frightens me.

On July 4th in Cape Cod we witnessed a Coast Guard Jet Flyover our resort area so close that is almost touched the trees. You could see the pilots face. Anyway a Coast Guard Helicopter followed. Well needless to say everyone ran out of the motel. Kids were crying in the motel pool. I thought I was going to puke. It turned out to be a flyover for the groom that was having a reception a block over at the Pelham House in Dennis port. He is in the Coast Guard. I thought "this is it" we are being attacked and so did everyone else !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
