HOMELAND INSECURITY
Backup electrical systems failed to kick in
A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained six days later.
Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

That's exactly what it looked like! And it had propellers.
It seems to be the common color scheme for air-tankers:

It looked more like that Neptune. I just don't know why it's in this area; we're not in a drought situation like down in the Everglades.
Hmmm, got me. :) You said you were close to an AFB, maybe they are stationed there... I guess it would make sense that some are in the FL region if any major fires are ongoing or had recently occurred. Are there any other AFB in the area of south FL?

Doubtful, at least at TM we know we are at orange teetering red
MacDill is the only one, in Tampa. If the plane hadn't made a second swoop of the area, I wouldn't have thought anything of it ...

Suspicious Suitcase Found at Mall
July 15, 2004 The Philadelphia Bomb Squad had to be called to the Gallery Two mall Thursday afternoon in Center City after a suspicious looking suitcase was found on the third floor. It happened just after 5 this afternoon at the mall located at 10th and Market. Police say a 20-inch suitcase was found on the third floor of the mall.
As a precaution, the bomb squad was called out. The suitcase was removed. It turned out to be a hoax.
Some do not see news as important, for it is an already reported source, but with all the news stories out there with terrorist headlines, at TM here we can take it a step further with what SP and Jill do, and all the professions and ex military etc and we can glean a much wider picture IMHO and yes it is so damn frightening AD ;( Having so many minds put together here, taking it in different directions, connecting different dots, our scope is so much wider and hopefully if any soups watch TM, analyists etc, well we will never know how we are helping
BTW AD what part of the country will you be in for your 10 day sabbatical?
Is it Saturday in London already?
The new park is beautiful, JP. If you get the chance, you should check it out.
