A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained – six days later.
Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

From what I have seen, it appears the goblins really want to pull off something. Given past history, they learn from their mistakes.
The article sample cited above reported 14 ME men boarding a single airplane and carrying different components of one device spread among them is a great example of adapting their tactics to our responses.
We need to learn their tactics, and adapt ours.
Example: Supposedly there were air marshalls on the plane, so I would let the Jihadis make the first move, and wait for the air marshalls to ID themselves and initiate their counter-assault. Then I would identify myself as a reinforcement and help them assault through the objective (i.e the terrorists).
Thats why I know you were an excellent leader Exsoldier. You are a natural born tactician.
Disclaimer: I know, I am preaching to the choir to you, but this is for the never militarily trained on the thread, to help them see how a tactical mindset works.

The problem is that we're "fighting the last war" (9/11). The Air marshalls have got to be PROACTIVE. There won't be boxcutters again, even though that seems to be what we're prepared for.

You're right about that. It's a shame. Virginia allows open carry of loaded firearms as well as concealed, but I think you are correct. People would freak out.
Guess I'll deep-six the idea of guarding the polls. Thanks for the advice!
