A explosion was heard at around 7 A.M. Sunday on Tel Aviv's Har Zion Street, close to the central bus station. An initial investigation suggested that the blast, caused by a small device, was a terror attack.
Army Radio reported that one person was critically hurt in the blast, and around a dozen were moderately or lightly injured.
The radio also reported that the blast occurred at a bus stop adjacent to a vehicle carrying morning commuters.
In March last year, 23 people died in a double suicide attack just meters from the location of Sunday's blast.
Help me out here: this is basically half an hour ago, yes?

Explosion on Israeli Bus, 10 Wounded -- Reports
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An explosion rocked an Israeli bus near the central bus station in Tel Aviv Sunday, Israel radio reported, and emergency workers said around 10 people were wounded.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion, which came two days after the World Court ruled that Israel's West Bank barrier is illegal.
Israel says the barrier is necessary to keep suicide bombers, who have killed scores of Israelis since the start of Israeli-Palestinian hostilities in September 2000, out of its cities. Palestinians denounce it as an attempt to grab land.
The head of emergency medical services Yossi Cohen in Tel Aviv told Israel radio that it was possible that the explosion went off at a bus station -- next to, and not on, the bus.
Magen David Adom emergency services said most of the injured were only slightly wounded.
Ugly news.
I ask all FReepers to pray for the safety of my son in the IDF, who is on duty in the Jordan Valley.

Yes, it's really high time they stop building that wall.(end sarcasm). Actually, a wall is too good for these animals.
Shalom!
Your nephew has my prayers...along with all of Israel.
And your son has my prayers....that you already know.
Thank him again, for defending Israel!

Prop to Hal on breaking this sad news item
Clearly, these kinds of incidents wouldn't happen if Israel would simply stop building and tear down the fence.
